Great Value Amp

I purchased the Rockford Fosgate R250-1D amp because of its small size. Have it hooked to a Pioneer TS-SWX251 shallow mount subwoofer. Sound Quality is excellent. This combo gives the right amount of bass to round out my system. I wanted something simple and compact to fit in the trunk of my Mustang. Good quality and easy to hook up. Sonic Electronix provided fast shipping and a great price. I couldn't be any more happy with my purchase. Thanks Sonic!

Small price tag, small size, big quality and sound

Got this for Christmas from my wife to power up the RF 12" sub/box combo I bought a couple of weeks earlier. Really a great amp. The sub is the Fosgate Prime Stage 2 with dual 4ohm voice coils. The amp comes with a "birth certificate" that list the date of manufacture and the output, this one rated 312 watts! Well over the advertised specs. The amp/sub combo gives great sound, hitting hard and clean. My wife had never heard a system as loud as my new one and she's not big on loud music, but she let me crank it up and she was amazed that she could feel it hit so hard and still sound so clean and accurate.

If you are on a budget, don't hesitate to go with this little amp for just under $100. It delivers big.

More Than Enough Power!!!

I purchased the Rockford Fosgate R250-1D amp because of the Positive reviews and because It was a perfect match for my Rockford Fosgate R2D4-10. I had (1) of these subs installed in my Ford Explorer using the 8 Gauge Rockford Fosgate RFK8I kit. Also bought the Belva 10" .77cuft sealed box from Sonic. Let me tell you that I really couldnt be more pleased with my system. Sound Quality is excellent. And this combo really BOOMS and HITS HARD!! I wanted something simple and not too overpowering. I really got more than I was expecting. Sonic Electronix provided supurb FAST service. I live on the east coast and ordered Sunday night, recieved Thursday and had everything hooked up Friday morning. I couldn't be any more happy with my purchase. If your looking for a single subwoofer with great sound quality and bass, the R2D4 w/ RF R250-1D amp is MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER!!! You won't be disappointed! Small amp, good sound!

I bought this r250-d1 to power one RF r2 dvc4.
wired for 2ohms so it should get 250rms at 2ohms
sounds great for under a100 bucks.
birth sheet said 301watts!! Great sound for the price.
Granted a higher line of Rockford Fosgate would be better.
Installed in 96 xj jeep cherokee
