Fiber Power 15 Bass

Rockford Fosgate RFD2215 15" Punch HX2 is the king of its time even today. I have this single 15 inch in my 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a 1000 watts two channel amp. I set it at three quarters of volume on my 1000 watts amp and also set the crossover at 30 Hz. Its the lowest frequency the amp can go. The bass is incredible it kicks and rumbles. Plus i have a car audio tube amp for the highs for matching with the 15 inch subwoofer. The rating i give is 5 for sound and quality.

Good budget subs that blow you away.

Fact: These subs pound and take a pounding I was BRtUTAL to them and they served me up what I love hard hitting low tones for hours on end. SETUP: x2 15 in hx2's, x2 Power Acoustik 4000 watt amps in a custom built sealed box with a volume per side of 4 cubic ft. then I stuffed it with poly fill about 8lbs per side and .5 in. carpet pad lined the box inside and out it greatly increased the clarity and volume at the lowest tones. x4 optima yellow tops 1/0 gauge power and ground 20 farad cap, batt. isolater, x2 stinger alternators 1 replaced the factory location for the A.C. in 93 grand marquis. All told alot of work but when I broke them in and finally put an spl meter to them 153.6 was a happy number for me.

I've had 2 hx2's for over 4 years now. I've had and heard lots of different subs before, and they are still one of the best out there. Bump HARD, will rattle your car loose, and turn heads from blocks away. Amazing sub, and will recommend to anybody.
