Low, Loud & Efficient!!!

Haven't seen many reiviews prior to purchasing these, so i figured i would throw my 2 cents in. First off, i've owned Type R's, Sundown SA and Soundqubed HDS. I ran all of the Alpine MRX-M110 and currently these too. I got tired of a single sub setup and went out on a limb and got these. Had never trie Skar, but have always wanted to. I chose these, because they fit my application and could give them a decent amount of space in my 2003 Dodge Ram single cab. Around 2.6 cubes tuned to 35'ish and they get down. They love the lows and upper bass region as well and way more efficient than the single setups previously mentioned. The sound quality is also great as well and they aren't even close to stressing on the wattage i'm giving them. They aren't built as solid as the SA and HDS, but they're also a lower line of Skars available subwoofers. They are louder and lower than any of my single sub setups, but wouldn't compare if the SA or HDS were paired. Overall, i'm extremely pleased i went with these and would buy again. Low, loud and efficient.

Best In Class SQL

I'm running this single sub in a 1.5 cu. foot, slot ported enclosure, parallel, 1 ohm amp load, on the Skar LP-550.1D. I was in the market for something in the 400-600 wrms range because I've yet to upgrade my stock power storage/supply in my 96 ext cab Silverado. I despise voltage drop...With a setup under such power constraints, I didn't expect obnoxious SPL, so I was looking for a reliable SQL sub, that still hit the low bass drops. This thing wont be heard from blocks away, but in the cab it produces a clean, crisp bass that no big name audio sub can compare. Only issue I have is the ridiculously small push terminals. I'm only using 14g wire, any bigger would be impossible.
