SKAR Audio MA 8 D4 - Box opening - Far bleeping out Man!

I haven't heard them yet & it will be a long time before my build, but when I opened the box, I couldn't believe my eyes! These are the best small subs I've seen! Oops, review guidelines have caused me to seriously edit this because I can't compare them to other brands that cost 3X as much, but there's no question about their great value. Their everything the description says. Built for extreme durability. Their magnet structure is extremely heavy for 8 in. subwoofer. The cone is so well designed & strong with heavy duty stitching.
For the car audio bass heads, even if they all ready have much larger & more powerful subs the Skar MA 8's are a must have item! I'm gonna tune them a little higher than my NVX VCW 152's which are also a top of the line & great value that also came with a great sub box for free during the time I bought them. What a great combination! But don't just take my word for it, go watchem on --- tube. You'll see, their using the Skar MA 8's alone & getting amazing spl. because there high powered long throw subs.

Box opening - Full shock & awe!

These Ma 8's are really built! They are nothing short of the description & photos. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how heavy the magnets are. Many people are "more than happy" using them as their only subs because their designed for extreme spl. But for bassheads like me, I'd recommend pairing them up with big 1000 watt subs set at 50 hz & below & setting the Ma 8"s at 38 hz on up to as far as a hundred + hz to get that full range bass - mid bass thing going on. So those that like to compete can come up with a straight line from the sound analyzer in a sound quality contest, because they work great together for a well balanced 10 hz - 100 + hz. with extreme power & clarity. For those that don't compete, they can get the full shock & awe reaction everywhere they go, which is priceless.

great 8's!

i got two of these powered 800 watts @ 1.8 ohms, and it rattles my trunk like crazy! they dont require alot of space to function properly which makes them ideal for small vehicles. i recommend these subs for anybody wanting a small sub that can sound similar to a larger one
