Skar SK4500.1D on 2) 12" C2 Audio Threatcon-4 12d4 subs

Amp is overall good with the big 3, high output alt, capcell and multiple batteries. But it goes into protect on certain bass notes and I have to shut off my head unit and turn it back on again with the volume down to reset the amp. Could possibly be a need of more battery power or fine tuning of the amp settings. Did this from the first day I installed it new when it came in from Kevin Schlenker (owner of Skar Audio). Think I'd rather go with a Crescendo BC5500 amp instead if I had the $$. Purchased it new on a trade in - Audioque Aq3500.1d with dual power and ground inputs + $175 shipped. It powered 2 new 12" C2 Audio Threatcon-4 12d4 subs that I bought from my buddy Chris Johnson - Co owner of C2 Audio at Car Stereo Headquarters in Austintown, Ohio back in Dec 2013 - January 2014 when I still lived in Ohio. Recently moved back to Hawaii though.

monster amp!!!

just received my SK-4500.1D amp and let me tell you this thing is a beast of an amp, every dollar is well worth the sheer power you'll get from this amazingly crafted amp! true competition grade power! just make sure you have multiple batteries the big 3 upgrade and a high output alternator to give this amp the power and love it deserves and also make sure you have subs that can also handle the power from SKAR audios flagship amplifier!
