Forget the name brands !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Put two of these in a sealed box in the trunk of my 2000 convertable Mustang. I have them running off an OVN1 Power Acoustic Gothic Series Monobloc amp pushing 1700w @ 4 ohm, 2500W@2ohm and 3200W@ 1ohm. (use 4 gague wire) The amp is 1 ohm stable and so are these speakers. Speakers are rated at 2000W peak and 1100W RMS. Alpine head unit upfront. I've heard alot of set ups before and everyone braggs about what they got in the trunk. These babies weigh about 45 pounds a piece. Their so heavy they come in a wooden box. The magnet is 270 ozs. Unless you have a competition set up you can't beat these for the price. When I went to the stero shop the guy looked at me, looked down at the ground, and shook his head like what are doing with this garbage. He than tried to sell me what he was pushing on his shelves for 3 times the price. After he installed them and it was shaking the S#%$ out of his install bay, a customer came over to me and asked what I had. When I turned around the installer was on the phone with his distributor placing an order for the amp and subs. Let your friends and others laugh at you when you tell them what you got. Let them rattel off all the name brands you can think of. Than let them hear these babies and than you can watch them cry from being ripped off for buying name brand S#$@ that's not half as loud or deep. BASSHEAD TO THE END NO NEED FOR TREBLE OR MIDS BOOYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
