spl are great amps i didn't know until i bought one from a friend it was a regular 400 watt amps but we rebuilt it to be 800. the first subs i had to it busted in a week now i have one 10 sony xplod hooked up to it and busted out the back windshield of my car it is one of the best amps you can get.

not true

this amp is not powerful enough to blow a back windshield off, but my friend had a 1600 watt SPL amp and he had 2 JL W3V2's and those slam.

i bought a SPLW 12 and bridged it to a Power Acoustik LT1920 and it blew right away. i later learned that it was a 2ohm stable amp and the sub was 1ohm... oops. i wish i wasnt so dumb because that would been one hell of a system. Ill be fine with my 2 hifonics those great brand.
