Great Value

I bought this amp and hooked it up in my 2003 Mustang to a single 1800 watt SPL sub in a ported box and ended up blowing the sub. Bought 2 GLW10 subs and put them in a sealed box. Hits hard for the money. Haven't blown those speakers. No overheat problems with the amp either. I'd recommend going with the Gorilla Series SPL subs 2 match. Dual 2 Ohm subs wired at 2 Ohms sounds good in the car. Very noticeable bass. Haven't turned the bass knob up more than half yet.

Good power

Been using this on my RESXX 12 not to its full potential yet, but it produces some good power to slam your subs. Seems to be pretty well built.

An okay amp

I would recommend this product if you have a ported cab. It will make your subs pound. It hits lows like a champ, the higher frequencies (past 70 hz) I can't say even close to the same. If you want deep beats, this is the amp for you. If you're looking for a better audiophile experience, consider other amps. I was looking to get the previous model of this amp, which looked cooler and from what I heard from others.

Spl great product

One of the best amps I've ever owned it doesn't heat up it puts out deep clear bass and it has all the power you would ever need the only problem is that the design isn't as fancy as some of my other amps but the power is there

Great Value Amp

The following review is for a previous version (GRLA2000/1D).

I am a custom designer and builder for Mediq Car Audio and can say that this amp is one of the best amps I have ever used and personally own this one also. I have 5 of these in a 1999 Ford Explorer Walled off with 4 Ascendant Audio Mayham 18's and these amps never over heat and are excellent. They are completely stable at 1 ohm. I also have them set up in a 1999 Concorde running a 15 Power Acoustick p3 and it slames. The Explorer is hitting a 155.4 constant and the Concorde is at 148.8. These amps are definantly great for the price.
