Great amp for the money

got the amp for 200..free shipping..since i live in indiana there was no tax so that was a plus..for 200 bucks u cant go wrong with this amp!!..i have it on two 15" MTX 9500s running at 2ohm and it POUNDS..i cant even turn the gain halfway up with out it wanting to blow my box up..bout to build a new box to handle the subs and the power the amp wants to push to them so i can really see what this can do..but over all i am very happy with the amp and service i got..i will for sure be buying all my audio from you guys from now on..i highly recommend using 0 gauge wire with this amp along with a few extra batteries in the trunk.lol this thing pulls a lot of juice..i have 2 yellow tops and all 0 gauge and its working for now..bout to upgrade to a 250amp alternator to seal the deal..bottom line if you got competition grade subs and want competition grade power for knock off price jump on this..i was a little uneasy about getting this amp at first because of the whole "you get what you pay for" thing but this seems to be paying off well so far..

real bass

This amp delivers pure power I think its slightly underrated but I would recommend this to anybody wanting quality equipment for their stereo system

i have two of these bad boys and one of them went out but the other one works like a champ I have this amp on four 15s and it hits super hard but I am going to get another one and put it on my 15s as well.

real bass This amp is super quiet, very loud and easily tuned. They look fantastic with all the black and the logo lighting up green

SPL GLA1-6000D

This amp is awesome plain and simple, I have never heard my subs hit that hard although it probably helps they are wired down to 1 ohm now. But still this amp is the real deal.

I have 2 of theses power house amps chained together powering 2 -MOFO-15''s I wasn't even expecting the bass it was putting out----I said to my self this is the sound i been looking for!!! YOU will not be disappointed with this amp.THIS is not one of those "great amp for the price" as people would say.No.. THIS IS A SWEET AMP PERIOD.

best bang for your bucks

This amp is a beast.with enough power you will be banging 4 days.
I have 1 hooked up to 4 15s and it doesnt get hot at all plan on getting 1 more thanxs sonic me and my 300 appreciate u.

not a bad amp for the price

I can guarantee that as long as you give this amp enough current you would b amazed what is can do. i am play a Orion hcca 15.2 and it sounds amazing, it may not have enough power to burn the hcca but am getting 2" excursion out of the sub easily. the amp is turn up to 3/4. But with regular sub like 2 l7 12" kicker with would eat them out.

BEAST MODE

Man this is one powerful amp.... I have it on a JL13W7 and lets just say u can barely sit in my SUV..... I had a JL 1000/1 on it at first and this amp pushes my JL harder than it did......This amp is certainly worth the buy....

Tremendous power!!!

This amp is bad azz. I have 2 Kicker 15' CVR on this amp and its banging the crap out of them. I add one more 15" CVR last week to see if this amp could push them and it did . A lot of power for a great price.

this amp is Great!!!

the 5500 watt gorilla amp is pretty nasty. i just got mine today and hooked it up to my jack hammers ( 4- 12s) it beats the ground at 1 ohm . I can say i will be buying a couple more of these amps and stape them to gether cause i have alot of solo xs and l5 and l7 that need to be abused by this bad A$$ piece of machinery. If u like it at 1 ohm u will love it at .5 ohms it really comes to life then. This is the same amp as the power acustik bamf 5500 except the spl is built better. i will keep u informed if this thing can last or not!!!the bottom line is if your poor like everyone else "me" and u want an amp that is going to push anything u got except a 22' or some thing ridiculous this is the one period ...

Have one of these pumping a Orion HCCA 15.4 at to ohms and it really moves getting a second one to strap to geather to make one to really give it more power and I can say not all the time u need to spend a lot of money to get what u want

Burned up

I advise u to slowly work this amp in. I had it hooked up to two 12 inch pioneer premier d2 subs @ 2 ohms stable. I was putting out around 1200 to 1500 rms thats about what it does on a regular battery. Hooking it up to an optima series battery gave it a constant 12 volt charge gave it aropund 1800... however the amp burned up on the second day. It is advised to break it in It requires a break in period. This amp is really good. It is quite powerfull for an spl amp or a mono amp. Just make sure to treat it right, break it in and heat it up before loud volumes. Remember everything has a limit

I have one of these on 2 Kicker CVR 15s and this thing pounds. I know I'm not getting all the power because I need another battery. But for now it does the job. My trunk flexes likes crazy I WOULD tell anybody about this amp if u don't have one get one, just make sure u have enough power to push it. Oh one more thing it DOES NOT get hot at all.

Gorilla Needs it's Bananas

Very powerful amp that demands an ample amount of wattage, an extra battery is recommended as voltage drops heat the amp up and it doesn't get to push to it's potential. Though very powerful the ratings aren't completely accurate. Expect ~ 2500 watts at 1 ohm.

This is by far the best amp i have ever owned and i have had quite a few. This bad boy fried the coil of my kicker l7 15inch sub the first day i installed it. i now have it playing 2 sony xplode 15 subs in a ported box and this thing hits soooo hard. My neighbours called the cops for me complaining everything in their house was shaking. I strongly recomend this amp if u are looking for the best and willing to forget the rest. Sonic you guys are the best. PS just bought a capacitor from this site cause this bad boy needs more juice.

SPL GRLA 5500/1D Amplifier , is of the highest quality that is compensated by the price! In fact, very good the price, very very good the product! I have mounted an SPL for to drive two subwoofers TC SOUNDS and managed to keep the current to 0.5 ohms. Is astonishing! I will buy other because I think it's a product that is worth having! is a "small explosive housing!".....

Best Amp Ever Owned

I have had this amp for 4yrs. Put it thru pure torture. In and out of vehicles.Always in 1ohm. I wish I knew where to find another one.

Really Strong

I currently have this on a splw12 at .06 ohms. It works flawless and probably to much power for the sub. i am very impressed that it is able to work beyond its intended range. I would of prefered too only have a single larger power and ground input instead of two, but regardless its a beast and can't beat the price.

spl Gorilla 5500

This a sweet amp for 1000 watt RMS subs. I run Orion 10.4's at 1500 RMS and it pounds them not to my subs potential it's maxxed out and not a problem don't over heat, I had a Hifonics Brutis and my subs smoked the amp so you be the judge

bang 4 the buck

I've got this amp hooked up to 2 rocksford T2's and the the bass is out of this world. i love this amp thinking about getting one more and 2 more T2's. A lot of power for a good price.

By Far the best amp ive ever owned PLEASE FIND MORE TO SELL SONIC ELECTRONIX!!!!!

I've owned them all.....JL Audio HD1200, HD 750, Fosgates, The older Power series, Punch series, T1500, T2500, Kickers, JL Audio Slash Series..... etc etc etc. Not Only does this DUAL MONO BLOCK Slam.....Its EFFICIENT!!!!! NONE of the above mentioned Amps were comparable in that depth.....period.
Had one push'n 2 JL 12W7s in the truck.... and also one in the boat push'n 2- Orion 10" HCCAs..... THIS is where it was proven!!! I'd kick tunes for a grip off a parallel 12v battery set up and boat would still fire up no prob!!!
Again.....PLEASE FIND MORE...Ill take 2!!!!!
