Amazing Value For Money
I have two 40" displays in my living room each with one of these hooked up to the external speaker port. I use the displays for my computer and Apple TV in varying combinations and have found that the sound they produce for anything from day-to-day TV watching, to immersive movies to rocking out to iTunes is better than I could have hoped for.
I started out with a top-end DA-E750 unit and I've now moved that into my bedroom with a 50" screen and I find it works very nicely - but I'm really in love with the litte white plastic horns that produce such wonderful and accessible sound.
I've marked the unit down a star for features and ease of use because I don't believe the bluetooth connection is worth much, it's not AirPlay enabled like its big brother (I could talk long about how awesome that thing is) and it has the old 30-pin iPhone terminal if you plan to use it as a speaker dock. I don't care about any of these things because I have them hooked up to a MacBook and an Apple TV so I can AirPlay to either of these devices from my phone.
Ok. That's it. Buy one while you still can!
