Samsung 32C530

Bought this LCD because of its USB capability to play mkv files and other bluray rip extensions from external hard drives. We really loved this feature, have been playing HD movies for hours and it works fine.
Love:
-Great USB feature with the price, we don't need to buy a media player to be able to play HD movie files. It also support resume playback. But pay attention to the spec of the files (it's in the manual), not every movie files can be played. But still no other competitor in the price range that has this complete feature, especially with playing mkv files.
-Love the sound. Since our bedroom is quite small, which is 3x4, the sound is practically loud & clear enough. It's quite surprising for us, we don't expect to get a nice balanced sound quality with the price =)
-Even with 6ms response time, no problem with viewing soccer match. It still looks great like viewing on crt.
-Nice skin tone, even with low resolution files. Other LCD might produce some obvious watercolor effects.
-Details in black level just fine, guess with the price we can't really expect much. It's all the same for products in this price range, some are even worse.

Hate:
-The menu is not really practical. When we do some adjustments, the screen was blocked with the menu all the time so can't really see the preview of the changes we made before we apply the adjustments.
-When playing mkv files with hardsub, the subtitles won't show.

In summary, we consider Samsung 32C530 is the best buy for us.
It's an all-round media playing LCD TV in the market, for only $550.
Glad we have it in our home =)
