Clock-radios

Been using this for a couple months so cannot attest to durability. # 1 complaint (con) is audio quality; not nearly as good as my old Proton 320 Clock-radio. #1 feature (pro) is preset radio channel buttons. Much better that the antiquated non-digital string-actuated dial on the Proton. For the price it's a good deal but for another $50-$60 get a larger (this is 7-inches wide) digital clock-radio having selector buttons on the front rather than top.

Just what I had in mind.

I wanted a radio that I could pre-program stations and not have to fiddle with tuning. The Sangean RCR-5 is just the ticket. My husband did the initial set up and I programed all my favorite stations. Works great on FM but is spotty on AM but with a little turning it in a different direction it will work.

I'm quite satisfied with this product.

Great product

Couldn't find any other clock radio that had both a headset out and iPad in. Love it!

Review of Sangean RCR-5

This compact little clock radio is excellent value of the money. It has superb FM reception (the primary reason I purchased it -- several of our favorite stations were usually received with frequent distortion and interference on previous clock radios, but no more), very good sound for its size, and 5 station presets. It is easy to use and quite attractive. We keep it in our bathroom and its LED light is so bright that a nightlight (that we have used for years) is no longer needed.

hard to set up but works fine

Thought the directions were unclear but worked it out. Pretty good value.

Great Product

I bought this for my sister as she was moving into her apartment, she loves it. She likes the radio on it, and for a speaker that has low wattage it has crisp vocals and nice clean soft bass. No Con's for this product. Worth every dollar, I would recommend this product and I'm even buying another for my moms office. Her old radio after 10 years broke and she loves this one.
