Not as easy as it looks, 2009 BMW 328i E90
First the part came without any instructions. When I ordered the kit it listed instructions were included. I went on Scosche's website and could not locate them there either. After a couple of phone calls to Sonic and Scosche I was able to have the instruction sheet emailed to me from scosche. This is the link http://www.nexxia.co.uk/PDF_Files/CT23BM01.pdf.
You will have to cut the dash to get the AC controls to fit. It isn't visible with the trim panel around it. This would have been useful information in the product description. There are apparently 2 version of this part. This version and another one that requires 2 screws under the AC control. There is a you tube video for the other type of kit. The AC controls will be at a slight downward angle but still workable. Over all I am happy with the look and fitment. the bottom of the trim plate is only held in by the raised ribs as seen in the photos. I would recommend this product only if you are willing to permanently alter your dashboard. It fit well with the HU I put in (NEX4100). If you have heated seats, you will need the relocation kit for the ashtray. That is in another review.
