Great design.

This is a stylish way to change out a factory stereo. Fits great. Love the extra storage.

Great sound and Value

The receiver deck I installed works perfectly. The HD radio is great and the sound with stock speakers is perfect.

Could be better

The bottom tray doesn't snap into place or have any method to secure it to the frame of the unit. I've had mine for over 3 years now and eventually the bottom tray kept falling into the dash because normal vehicle movement would shake it loose.

The stereo doesn't screw in or mount very securely to the unit either. due to the weight of the stereo it would sag. Eventually I had to use zip ties around the whole unit in order to keep all the pieces in place and prevent the stereo from sagging.

Simple design changes could easily remedy these issues.

When you buy this I suggest using large zip ties to securely tie it together.

Install was a snap, perfect fit in my 05 Ford Focus. Worked perfect for me.

wrong size!

It may have been that the deck was not standard sizee but i had to do a lot of trimming to make it fit.

Dont skimp

It dosen't fit like i would like, it lacks support at the bottom, this may only be related to my applacation and not others (2007 ZX3).

Poor Product

This car adaptor was of such inferior quality I purchased another that mounts and holds the stereo flawlessly in the dash. I priced this dash adaptor separately and it was only a few dollars cheaper than the one I purchased which ended up a far superior product. It’s not a deal or good advertising when the mount included with the radio is so inferior to other mounts in the same price range.

this was an awesome install on a 2005 ford focus, i used this kit and also the scoshe wiring harness to install the jensen vm9512 head unit and the guy loves it

This product does not fasten at all 4 corners and does not sit flush with the factory dash face without some fidgeting. Bottom sits proud by an 1/8 since the box is flat and the dash panel is slightly curved.

Not to happy

I can't really complain because it was free, but If i had paid a dollar for it I would have felt cheated. Poor quality and fit. Stereo does not attatch to it properly and the bottom edge of the storage compartment bows up.

Worked as expected

I successfully replaced my factory double-DIN head unit using this adapter. The new head unit was a tight fit in the adapter but the installation has been rattle-free for over six months. Good value especially given the low price. The plastic is hard, so be careful if you have to push and pull to get it in place.

Has awesome support! I love this bracket for the single din in a double din slot. It has so much support for the radio. Doesn't wiggle. Fit perfect in a ford focus!
