Can't see the purpose
Installed by the paperwork, hated the results.
Its just a row of capacitors. One per circuit. Odd design. Was sure when I bought this, that with 21st century technology available that a 1950's method was used. Went from a Stereo with floating ground to to a amplifier with (old school) common ground as shown, and it put the fader and balance and stereo separation in total disarray plus cut 40% of the sound levels. You'd think in the 21st century, all this conversion could be done on a chip with some engineering. NOPE!

Works
I have a camper with common speaker negatives. Replaced radio which has separate negatives for each channel. This allowed me to make both compatible. Simple hookup. A few reviews I read said it would drastically cut down the volume. Not that I can tell. I can turn it up loud enough to make my wife complain. Oh, one note. The included directions are backwards as to which leads are + and which are --. I confirmed this with the company.
I would recommend this product.
