I bought this for my friend also and he owns a 1990 S10. I installed the radio and the harness worked fine. It did what it was suppost to do, it made the job a lot easier than soldering the wires.

Very easy install. I used this for installing a deck in my 1981 chevy monte carlo and i had the deck in in like 15min.

This wiring harness plug was just about manditory for installing the new radio. Worked out fine.

This was great. The original radio was removed before I bought the car all the wires had been cut and were to short to use again. this plug wired in color for color.it made installing the radio a breeze.

The wiring harness came free with the purchase of my new car radio, how could you hate that. Also made installing the actual radio easy as pie. (removing the factory radio was another story). Would recommend it to anyone who wants to install their own car radio

Great product

Took three times to get the right harness but that was probably because my car is a 89 Buick, not exactly a newer car. But I'd like to thank Sonic Electronics for working with me and being so easy to get in touch with and so professional with their communication, that I eventually received the right harness. Once I had the right harness, installation was a piece of cake as all wires were labeled and color coordinated. It plugged directly into the harness on my 89 Buick, which leads me to believe that if they have a harness for my car, there aren't many that they don't have. I would recommend this product to any consumer. Should also mention that harness was FREE with my purchase of head unit.

I got this free with the radio, thank you Sonic for having free installation accessories, but I couldnt find a use for it, the 4 different 70-88 trucks I have done stereos on had already had the harness cut, and chances are with a vehicle that old most of them will have been modified, so I couldn't find somewhere to "Plug it in" had I paid for it I would have been upset, but since it was free OH well!

What I ordered was the combo radio; Bluetooth, mp3 player, usb, reader, CD player, detachable face, aux input it's fantastic too me. Even if my ear blue tooth is on and the car Bluetooth is on it will shut the radio sound down and and i talk thru my ear Bluetooth and it resumes the radio when i hang up.

Its nice to get something for nothing

When I ordered my new deck Sonic sent the install kit and the wiring kit for free, a lot of places charge you or jack up the prices and act like they're doing you a favor. I saved over $ 70.00 by buying from Sonic on just that single purchase. My wires were cut by thieves a long time ago so I just solder all my connections but if I still had the factory plug this would have made my install so much easier.

Wiring Harness

Looks to be a great product, however it was unnecessary since my existing "wiring harness" had only 3 wires. Although it was free, it did me no good. Looks like it would hook up to the JVC stereo I purchased just fine.
