I used heat shrink instead of tape. Would have been nice if the instructions would have included the fact that the application required using the amplifier hookup..

This item was included with a DUAL Model XHD6425 HD Radio that I purchased from SonicElectronix.com (see my review on it, dated May 30, 2009). This connector turned out to be a VERY GOOD quality part that worked perfectly when I installed it into my 2001 Chevy Tracker. Because of the correct parts being supplied (as determined by the folks at SonicElectronix.) my installation turned out SWEET! I am very happy with the fit and function of this item.

Using this connector enabled me to configure the DUAL wire harness, such that I just plugged it into the existing connector in the vehicle. No cut wires on the car side … so if I ever decide to transfer the DUAL to a different vehicle, I’ll still be able to re-install my original radio and just plug it in. That’s a GOOD THING! I would definitely recommend buying from SonicElectronix.com, … I’m glad that I did.

My wiring harness came free when I purchased my head unit from Sonic Electronix. I already had one, but I swapped it out with this one so it would all be new and it was a breeze. The color coded wires are fool-proof and easy to work with. Nice clean installation and it's held up just fine. Thanks Sonic Electronix!

Great Harness

Just like all Scoshe Harness they are color coded, normal length of wires, and come with detailed instructions. All wires were correct and made installation much easier than a hard wire approach.

A Must Have

This is a must have when installing a new headunit in your vehicle. This allows you to plug right in to your factory wiring harness. That's IF the factory harness hasn't been hacked up by a previous owner or crappy installer. This worked great for my 2003 S10 Blazer LS.
