Makes your older dash look like a new car!

This dash kit is easy to install and makes an older GM cars dash look great. The best part is it's easy fit, simple to install and a nice tight fit so the head unit does not move around.

Nice Looking Product

Looks good in the dash afterwards. Complicated to put in I would advise a professional. Also can chip and break the mounts if you pull it out to add wires like RCA or Remote to run an amp.

installed in 87 chevy celebrity, dash was kind of hard to remove but once stock deck out this adapter fit in perfectly. and came free with deck purchase!

The instructions were not great so getting it together was a bit of a challenge. Once assembled it supports the radio well enough and looks like it belongs..

Worked out fine.

Had some trouble figuring which parts to use in my 89 Buick, but it ended up working out alright after a few times putting it together to see which parts worked out for the install. A fine looking installation when it was all said and done. Just a few grey hairs along the way probably because I had never done it before. In hindsight, I'd recommend for the first timers like myself a helping hand from someone with a little experience with install kits. Being as the kit was FREE with the purchase of my head unit, I have no real complaints.

Had to read thr directions twice to get it right - more bad than the directions. When I got it down pat, the radio slides right in and looks great in the dash of my 91 Chev S-10. Enjoying the comments from folks that thought I couldn't make it look right. Looks factory.

This is a good product. Has every size and shape available. It is a little boxy for my taste. If my original stereo in my car hadn't been broken I wouldn't have gotten it. My original one was rounded on the edge and looked better in the dash than this one which as I said is boxy and square instead of rounded edges.

I bought this product to try to fit my 1987 GMC S-15. They said they did not have the correct one for the '87 so I fot the '88-94 istead. I did manage to make it work though and I'm satisfied with what Sonic sent me.

radio install in 86 El Camino

I was better off fabricating my own install pieces. This kit was absolutely worthless to the install. Very cheap and did not fit properly. Radio I installed is wonderful but took an extra day to fabricate pieces that would actually hold it in the radio cavity. May work well with other vehicles but certainly did not in an 86 El Camino.

Mounting kit

It doesn't fit very well with the S10 S15 pick up truck dash
I will have to make some modifications to keep it secure. Radio sits too far back and is interfered with Ac duct work
