The only problem I had was no stereo support supplied. I had to make my own. The plastic would NOT support the radio by itself.

Easy and straight forward

It is an install kit and it worked. What else could you ask for?

It didn't fit.

This came free with my Kendwood KDC headunit, but it did not fit in my 1997 chevy cavalier. It was about 3/8" to wide on either side, did not line up with the existing screw holes in the dash, and it also did not fit under the dash piece when I tried to put everything back together.

this is an alright product but it didnt fit my 93 or 94 caprice but a friend of mine who installs radios said it fit one of his customers car great so he bought it from me and I still didnt lose a thing Great job again thanx SONIC

suppost to be universal but is not with the 2000 Chevy Malibu... had to modify it to work...

Good enough for me...

Came as a free accessory from SonicElectronix with purchase of a head unit. Went into a friend's oldschool Blazer and looks completely factory. It was a breeze to install, looks good, and seems durable enough for the job. Can't ask for more out of a dash kit, especially a free one.

Could Have Been Better

used this to install a aftermarket alpine in my 04 vette. The fit for the radio was perfect but the fit on the vette itself was not so great. I have gaps and its not a perfect fit. so if your a perfectionist you may have to make some modifications

it does what it should, i actually tightened it down rather hard and it didnt crack, i was very happy.

The adapter plate worked fine. It fit into a 22-001 S-10 as it should. It holds the CD player in place without movement.

The fact that they were included with the stereo unit was icing on the cake.

This mounting bracket works wonderfully, fits into the dash of my '98 Chevy Malibu perfectly. The color is a close enough match to the surrounding plastic that it blends right in.

Great look and fitment

I purchased this kit because I like how it fits and keeps the head unit pushed back in more of a flush fashion. Most dash kits for my truck (2000 Chevy S10) make the head unit stick out a bit because of a factory mount bracket inside the dash. I cut that bracket out and everything fits great and looks much better. I got another one of these kits for my 1995 Chevy Impala SS as well.
