Excellent Adaptor Kit ... SWEET Install

This item was included with a DUAL Model XHD6425 HD Radio that I purchased from SonicElectronix.com (see my review on it, dated May 30, 2009). This adaptor kit turned out to be a VERY GOOD quality part that worked perfectly when I installed it into my 2001 Chevy Tracker. Because of the correct parts being supplied (as determined by the folks at SonicElectronix.) my installation turned out SWEET! I am very happy with the fit and function of this item.

Using this adaptor kit enabled me to install my DUAL HD Radio in place of the factory radio, and resulted in an EXCELLENT LOOKING alternate radio. The mount fit both the radio and the vehicle perfectly … with no cutting required for either. So, if I ever decide to transfer the DUAL to a different vehicle, I’ll still be able to re-install my original radio without a problem, or anybody ever guessing that it had ever been removed. That’s a GOOD THING! I would definitely recommend buying from SonicElectronix.com, … I’m glad that I did.

Fit's just as it should. Unnecessary mounting hardware is easy to remove and leaves room for several Head Unit sizes.
I had to trim my Head Unit bezel so that it would work with this Dash Kit but, the modification is hardly noticeable and looks good.
I like the fact Scosche made an attempt to include the pocket below the Head Unit space but, it is HALF the size as the OEM pocket. Better than nothing, I suppose, but a pain when you're used to sticking your wallet and phone in it, and now cannot.

A Perfect Fit

I used this trim kit when for my 1994 Suzuki Sidekick. Perfect fit when replacing the stock headunit with a much newer single DIN unit. The fit is great and looks like factory trim
