It fit perfectly to the other harness in the car... used it for a power acoustik radio nothing fancy but I like the radio I have and the wiring was easy no need for volt meter or splicing any wires...and also the customer service is wonderful I ran into a problem with a product and they helped me out with the best solution that I didnt think would happen but I recommend this product and this company for anything you need car wise.

Does what it should

Installation was short and sweet, and Sonic Electonix helped me out when I was mistakenly sent the wrong wiring harness.

I know this model is being discontinued, but if anyone finds this model, be sure you have the clearance on your dash to work the dock. Because of the way the iPod mounts into it, you need at least a good 4-5 inches of clearance above your radio to plug it in. I had to switch the placement of the OEM Pocket and the Unit on my '99 Integra and it just barely fits in, it often toggles the power button on top of my phone.

A must-have piece for stereo installs

For 99% of car stereo installations, you'll want one of these. Easily lets you tie in to the factory power, ground, ignition, antenna motor, dimmer, and speaker wires.

This lets you make all of your wire splices on your workbench (or kitchen table), so once you get in the car you can just plug everything in.

To keep things clean and tidy, I de-pinned the extra wires that I didn't need for my install. With a steel pick, you can depin the harness fairly easily.

Be careful which radio you have

This cable was included free with the radio, but as I had a Bose radio (separate amp) it did not work. I think the site should be upgraded to ask you which radio you have (standard radio or premium). Ordered the new cable with came very quickly and it works like a charm

Just plain works

Simple as matching up the colors. With this install I decided to use heat shrink tubing rather than the various other types of connections, and am quite pleased with the results. It is a much cleaner install and the connections seem much more secure/permanent.

Awesome radio unit!

Awesome little unit for the price! Easy to install with free included harness and connections (Sony MEX-BT4100P bundled for me with Scosche HA1563B and Scosche HA02B for my specific car). Definitely worthwhile to get with it for that easy set up. Unit in particular has a lot of good features for the price, main pieces for me being bluetooth and external outputs. One wish would have been to have integrated bluetooth vs a necessary corded microphone, but cant beat that price. Love Sony! Sounds good (currently connected to four sony xplod 6 1/2's) with all features working. Only negative is the sony app, whereas it works fine, though wish it would auto-activate or power up once bluetooth recognizes its connected to the headunit (samsung s3 phone). not a deal breaker though. awesome headunit as a whole!

Quality parts at reasonable prices

I ended up ordering a replacement harness and I must admit that the price was the lowest and the quality is excellent, plus the shipping was very fast! This is the first place i would check when I need another harness!

Radio Replaced

By the addition of this product, it made the installation of a Sony radio simple and look like it had always been there. This wiring setup plugged right into the existing system and everything worked right the first time. And the best part, it was free. Included in the price of the radio. It works and is necessary

My car was missing the factory connector because the last owner was too cheap to buy this little connector. I went to pick and pull and got the original harness to replace it so I could do it right. If you cant decide to buy this or not, buy it because your wires will get real short real quick if you ever decide to get a new deck, and you wont find yourself trying to find and connect wires behind the dash like I had to. Buy this harness and you can just sit back while watching TV and just match colors up. This also came free with my deck

Work great

I got this for free, it came with my Kenwood car stereo. It fit in my car perfectly. It had good instructions, wasn't wrapped in a crazy package. Was straight and to the point. I actually got a car stereo for my girlfriend and it provided me with a kit for her car. I'm waiting till Christmas to give it to her, but I'm very confident that it will fit once again. I would recommend this company to anyone. They are a little flimsy so I would be careful. I wouldn't call this a disadvantage, but still be careful!
