the color was a bit off

I needed this kit to install an aftermarket cd player in my 08 honda civic si. I did not know which color to order as the pictures are very close in color. I ordered the right color but it is a shade off from my factory interior. But for the price im surprised its painted at all. the quality is good. it fits just like the factory dash piece does. the AC knobs line up nicely. the color is just a shade off.

Great Fit

I purchased this for my 2006 honda civic 2dr lx. The fit is perfect and looks factory. The color however, was very off. My dash was the earth/toupe color and the item i recieved, while marked earth/toupe, was closer to a grey/black. I repainted my dash and the item so they would match, and now it looks perfect.

The construction is fairly decent, although mounting the radio inside with the provided brackets could have been a little more stable, but it does work. It was very easy to install and, despite the color difference, now looks great.

It does the job

This was a must to install an aftermarket dash in a civic, but it could have been better.

I got the Earth Taupe color, and it was close in color but it is slightly different. I'm not sure if the current dash has faded in the sun (2007) or if the color is just wrong. However it's close enough and is acceptable, most people won't look closely enough to notice.

I also had some problems with the button cutouts. The hazard button cutout was too big, and the spot near the defrost buttons was too small. This would cause the buttons to "stick" when you pressed the button down. I very carefully shaved this down with a utility knife and it worked fine.

My last complaint is that many of the screw holes seem too small, they kept cracking. The screws still held so they are still functional luckily.

Overall it gets the job done and looks fine, but next time I might look for an alternative.

Gets the job done, but not much else

The fitment was pretty decent but not perfect. There is a gap along the top edge at the back (maybe my fault?). I had to trim the bottom edge of the climate control button opening because the fitment was too close and the buttons would get stuck after pushing them inwards. The colour is also off for the Civic Si, probably because it's near impossible to match paint codes.

Scosche kit

The dash kit i bought is great and fitted perfectly, guys at the car service couldn't see the difference from the original one. As far as I know this is the only American site that ships electronics worldwide , thanks for the great service.

Terrible in my 08 Civic Ex Coupe with Premium Audio.

This kit absolutely sucks.. i have an 08 Coupe Ex with Premium Audio with factory amp.

Simply put it just wasnt made properly and took hours to get it in having to sand down ares and leave screws out because is doesnt line up right holes for the screws are too short or too long its just complete garbage

If you have premium audio this will change the look of the dash it will actually stick out the top right side and instead of being flush like the original dash and the metra kit . You may get it to work for you but set aside 2 hours just to swap the stuff. Compensating for the flaws is very time consiming. I am Very very upset with this kit considering the price.

It was perfect fit for 2006 Honda civic and the color matched the oem parts. Very good quality and reasonable price.

Fit well, easy install, BAD color match

This product was easy to install, and was shipped QUICKLY, but the color did not match the tan interior of my vehicle. It is close, but not quite. The other colors offered would have been even worse. However, it allowed me to install a double din unit with no problems. If I have the misfortune of coming across another Honda Civic, you can bet I will buy another one of these adapter kits!
