Dash kit for my old 01 accord

I've had & sold that car since this review but after I ordered it from here I installed it w/o any problems, quality seemed good I would recommend this.

trouble

Cant seem to hold my cd player in place, i place it and it fits very well but when i go to push a button on the cd player it slides backwards.

6 months of use

Sturdy and was made specifically for my car so no hassle in breaking pieces off or adding. The bottom port is too small to place CD which is the only downside.

I bought this for a 2000 Accord EX and it worked. I fit perfectly.

Did the job

Kit seems to be good. I only needed to use one of the trim pieces when I installed it and it blended perfectly with the stock trim. It did what I needed it to.

Gets the job done

This kit fit perfectly in my 1998 Accord and it looks great too and being free with my stereo you can't go wrong

2002 Honda Accord Mounting Kit

Great value and sound

I was replacing an after market radio with this one. The radio went into a 1998 Honda Accord and fit very well. I didn't have to make any changes on it. The sound on the radio makes the factory speakers sound like they have been changed out also. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Poor craftsmanship

I received this free with the purchase of a Kenwood head unit. I shouldn't complain because it didn't cost me anything, but it was a bit frustrating to work with this mounting unit.

The entire thing is made of plastic. I have no problem with that, but the piece where the "pocket" is supposed to fit had a piece of unfinished plastic obstructing the way for the pocket. I was able to eventually snap off the extra plastic, but even then it was difficult snapping the pocket in. Once it was in it held firm, but getting it in could definitely be easier.

As far as holding the unit and fitting in my car, everything went perfectly. It didn't require any adjustments whatsoever. For me, prep time took a lot longer than installation adjustments.
