Can't live without it
Bought this for my 2013 civic si. Sure Scosche and others make kits that replace the entire dash, but those are all flat black, and my interior has a glossy pseudo carbon fiber look to it and this trim piece allows me to keep the factory appearance. 3 different install shops told me my options were to buy the flat black kit and purchase all black dash pieces from the dealer, or to buy mounting brackets (likely from the same black kit) and they 'might' be able to cut some abs plastic to make a trim ring (one said it would fit without any trim ring. not even close, bud). No one seems to know this item exists, which is a shame, because it replaces the factory trim ring perfectly, fits into the dash in exactly the same way. I am taking my car back to these so called professionals just to show them how much better an amateur can do with the right tools

I have a 2013 civic si without nav. I bought a pioneer double din unit with wireless Android Auto. I bought the original carbon embose radio panel from honda. This is the right pair for it. The metal bracket and the matte panel in this kit were the perfect things I needed for the conversion. Nobody seems to know that this exist. Not even in the forums. Now my SI is better than the expensive Si that came with the nav. I used maestro rr module to retain steering wheel buttons.
