This installation kit (which I received for free when I purchased a Sony CDX-GT730UI Stereo) works perfectly . . . IF your stereo doesn't have a pivoting faceplate. My stereo required the faceplate to pivot down in order to load/eject a CD. This kit makes the aftermarket stereo fit flush to the car and looks fantastic. However, a pivoting faceplate on a stereo will fit too tighly to easily pivot up and down. I recommend NOT using this kit for such a stereo. Better to use the stereo's included sleve and let the stereo stick out 1/3 to 1/2 inch.
