iPod passPORT Charging Adaptor

This adaptor work perfectly, plug and play. No more charging issues. All transport controls still work.

Works well

I have an aftermarket radio in my car that is designed to accept a Nano ipod and operate by use of the touch screen. The Scosche Passport was the needed interface and it works perfectly. When connected, the ipod can only be operated by use of the touch screen on the radio and it couldn't work better. Sonic had the best price I could find, costing half what I found elsewhere. Shipping was fast, too.

Works well, a bit bulky

This absolutely solves the charging issue for the iPod touch on my older JVC deck. My only problem was that the plastic case on the adapter prevented it from connecting to the iPod while in the leather case I use with it. Solved that issue by popping off the plastic case and covering it with electronic shrink tubing-now it's even better.
I knocked 1 off a perfect rating because of the large case and the slightly weak grip it has on the iPod.

We bought this to go with our newer iPod so it would charge while plugged into my truck. It works great! We love it!

I got one of the first iTrip FM transmitters which I love but my new itouch won't charge on it so I ordered this. Does what it does now I can charge and listen to music on my new itouch. Great product long lasting and cheap to.

Great product

Product works great. I no longer need to have 2 separate cords to charge my iPod and iPhone.

Works as advertised

This works as expected - it allows my newer ipod touch to be charged by my older car stereo's ipod connection. The only downside is that I wish it could 'lock' into place when connecting to the ipod, because sometimes it comes loose a bit, but that is not a big deal.

Works good but fairly bulky

I like this product because it works perfectly but it just seems bulky and I wish I didn't need it...

Great product

I would highly recommend this product. Our ipod wasn't charging in our 2009 Infiniti but this Scosche IFWA passPORT fixed the problem. It's a small adapter and very easy to use.

A must have

This is a must have for people who have old iPod stuff and then buy I iPod touch.

Works like a charm!

This passport does exactly what it says: allows you to charge newer gen ipod touches on older style docks. I use it on my wired deck in my car to charge my 2nd gen touch while it plays. My boyfriend has used it too, but he has a problem with it slipping out of the dock too easily. I have not had this problem but, my ipod is mounted upright and he just throws his ipod in his cupholder upside down. We've been pleased otherwise so it is just something to be aware of.

Must have

You running your IPOD, Nano, IPhone, or Touch? Then you need to make sure it is being charged as you play it. This product does that for you. Never have a dead player again.

Works Great!

I would recommend this to anyone. Needed to charge my Ipod while in the car. Nice not to have a dead Ipod all the time. Easy to use and a good quality product.

Charges but makes a whiny noise

I purchased this product in order to play my music from my iPhone 4s this product does charge my iPhone 4S but as the music plays a certain levels there's a whining noise once I disconnected the device the whining stopped. Still good for charging while driving and listening to music. Also in plugging the device into my 4s it doesn't stay locked into place. very easy to come out.

Glad someone made this product

This simple product works perfectly. It allows my Pioneer AVIC-D3 car stereo to charge my iPod Nano 4G and everything functions like is supposed to.

Simple easy to use little tool, fools the non-charging adapter into "magically" charging the ipod, whithout which Apple would have their way and your ipod would run outa battery unless plugged into one of their sockets.

Worked great

This device worked as advertised. The Sony stereo in my pontoon boat would not charge my ipod nano. However, this device allowed the nano to charge by just connecting it in line with the Sony cable. Everything else worked OK as well.
I have recommended this device to friends.

Does the job

I believe Apple can be and often is very innovative, but there continuous change to the data/power port on the iPod gets rather frustrating. This device enabled charging on a system where the newer model iPod had disabled it.

Good deal

It is a good solution to being able to charge and listen yo my touch 2nd generation and iPhone 3rd generation. The con to it is that I get a little feed back in the sound. I use only when a charge is needed, hook straight up to the cable for clear listening without this attached.

Made my life easier!

This device perfectly controls my iPod nano. It charges it and allows my JVC deck to control every function! I use my iPod with my job and I listen to it about 18 hours per day without missing a beat! The price was excellent and the shipping was ever so fast!

Great idea.

I bought this product hoping it would work with my Pioneer head unit, it does not. I have since done some research and for some reason they will work with everything BUT Pioneer head unit.

Audio Quality Problems

Received the first one and it had noise/reduced volume and poor audio quality when playing music through an iPhone 4s in a Scion XB. Sent it back for a replacement. Second one has the same issues.

Good product and does what it says. I use it with an Alpine tuner and factory Alpine apple cord charges the phone fine. Only complaint is it doesn't lock in place very secure. If you don't touch your iPod or iPhone again your good but if you pick it up to answer the phone it comes loose very easy.

Charges ipod, though makes buzzing sound while doing so

Does what it's supposed to. Only complaint is that it buzzes when the iPod is charging, though you can tune it out or crank the volume. Once it is fully charged, however, its plays crystal clear.

Worked exactly as advertised

Did what it said it would. I have an older Alpine car radio with an IPod nano. This little gadget now charges the Nano while plugged in to the stereo.
