Fits pretty good, but I had the front load look
The fitment is pretty good for the unit. But I hate sandwiching a DIN sleeve between my dash panel and the kit. It doesn't look factory sitting out ahead of the dash. I really wished Sonic would have sent me the Metra kit (which I'm out $10 bucks reordering from here- Metra has WAY more options like a pocket and rear load ISO din). The extra $10 is fine, but been nice to got that one the first time around. Maybe looks better in other Mazda's but this went into a Mazda Rx-7 1990 convertible. I used to install car stereo professionally (14 year veteran) and I thought maybe they had the same kit as far as the configuration as Best Kits or Metra, but they don't. Hope your mileage with this kit differs...

Not for me
This item is made of cheap plastic. It is not user friendly and gives a cheap look to your car's interior.

Dash kit
It was easy to install an I'm not an audio installer. So if you need a dash kit to install your new radio, you don't need the pro's. I sent the my car info and these guy sent me dash kit and the wiring hardness

eh, nothing better
This did let me install my head unit in my Tracer, same as 323; but really wasn't designed for it. Too bad there's nothing else to do. Maybe this is better for some of the other cars.

Little bit of cutting.
This product worked great for my Miata, filled the hole (where the stock dual din radio was) up fairly well except for a place for you to add a graphics equalizer. It does come with a piece for you to cover it up, however I just leave it open since that is where the remote to amp is. Did take a lil bit of cutting for the radio to go so that it would sit flush in its spot (note: that is just for it to sit flush, did not have to cut any thing outside of what had to be cut for the bracket to mount).

Great product
Used this to fit a Alpine head unit into my mazda, worked great! had to cut a little of the plastic/ sand to fit just perfect. . . otherwise great, STURDY product.
