backup camera

Easy to install. However when vehicle is in drive and screen should be black I get an annoying flicker. Had to put in a control switch to the monitor power supply

Works great unless you are near a wifi router

Only worked intermittently after I installed it but once I was away from the house at a traffic light it worked fine. When I got to the office it worked fine there. When I went to the old house to do some work it would not work again. Scanned for wifi connections on my phone and 3 were available. Drove away from the houses and it worked again. Called manufacturer and they said it was discontinued years ago. Called Sonic and because it was past the 60 days, waited for warm weather to install it, they could only discount another product.

good value

I got 2 units. One unit is on the back of my truck. It is perfect to back the ball under the hitch of my horse trailer. I put the second one inside the horse trailer and wired the power lead to the marker lights. It works great. I should have chosen the model that allows you to reverse the image on the screen to the horse cam would not be reversed. Good quality for the price.

Good for passenger vehicle but not a pick-up truck

When hooking up the wireless back up monitor, you need to wire it into the same place you wired in the camera. (rear back up light) Pick up truck is to long for the wireless signal to be strong enough to keep the monitor on continuously when in reverse. I would recommend this product if using in a regular passenger car. The hook up is easy enough to do if you have a basic knowledge of electric. The directions are ok other than they forgot to add that you need to run the plus side of the monitor wire to the same plus wire you connected your camera to. (otherwise your monitor will flash from time to time while driving.) Do not buy this wireless if you are going to use it in a pick up. Monitor will work only intermittently.

Back up camera

Easy to install, works well. I use it on my snow plow truck. The only down side is the lense gets dirty when the roads are wet, but not the camera's fault. Great Value.

Great product and value

I hit a golf cart when I backed up my car two months ago.
This is the reason to buy "Scosche RVC1R.". Now I feel more comfortable when I back my car.
