not a perfect fit..

The shape / dimensions / color / texture were correct, but one of the tabs on the top right would never seat properly, so that one corner did not fit flush.

I ordered this mounting kit for a new 2008 Tundra that I just got. I was a bit apprehensive about tearing into the dash to mount a Double Din Pioneer GPS, however, once i got a look at the kit, it was obviously well engineered, and now that I have installed it, I have received Many compliments about how "Factory" it looks. The high gloss piano finish is a perfect match. I would highly recommend this product to anyone I know.

Good dash kit

Was easy to use, fit like it should. Just be care full with the tabs, they will bend or brake. Other then that the kit worked great. Still using haven't had any issues with it.

Faceplate

I installed this in my 08 Tundra. Took me less than a half an hour to install my new deck and it really looks great. Am very happy with it.

does the job

The top right (three o'clock on the dial) side does not stay down. It's installed with friction clips only, and the friction clips provided don't do a great job in the spot. I think it's because of the torque on where the screws go into the bottom.

Otherwise, the fit is good and the piano black bezel color matches my tundra. Good install kit and the price is right.

not to good

I bought this merchandise, and bluetooth is not working to good. and bracket does not fit too good either. Navigation is good, DVD works good too. overall I will let you decide for yourself.

Just another ok product

Pros:
It made it possible to get rid of the junk HU in my Tundra.
It did not catch on fire.

Cons:
Poor fit, bottom of trim adapter did not fit right, maybe it was just my piece

Nice Product

Nice Product. My only problem is not an issue for this specific product. I ordered this dash kit for a 2008 Sequoia as one is not made as of yet for the Sequoia I was forced to use one designed for a Tundra. The Sequoia dash is something similar to a metallic black as opposed to gloss black. So the new dash kit does not match perfectly with my dash.

The fit and ease of installation was great.

over all this is a complete kit. one thing that i did notice is that the clips that hold it into the dash. are less than stellar. they do not stay snapped in. other than that everything fit perfectly.

The Scosche TA2073B / TA2073 dash kit for my 07 Double Cab Tundra was just what I was looking for. The fit was perfect, it matched the rest of the dash perfect, and the installation was a breeze!

Great Product!

Bad Fit

No matter how many times I messed with it I cannot get the right top corner to sit flush with the dash.

Not so good

Good looking fit. For my particular choice of head units. The unit looked good from operators view, but needed trimming and brackets weren't substantial enough to make a solid fit. I had to trim the mounting posts to fit properly. Then The brackets weren't a good fit or I used the original ones.

Good Value

Product matches the 2007 Tundra interior perfectly. Although the clips that comes with the mounting plate work, I swapped them out with the original clips from the old mounting plate. The original clips seemed to give a stronger, more secure fit.

I would recommend this product.
