very handy, and served the purpose for what i needed it for.

It Works

It works alright, but the opening is a bit smaller than I had imagined. If I were to order again I would look for a larger opening. This will hold my wallet and phone but nothing larger.

Not much to say

There isn't a whole lot to say here, it was an easy install into my 90 Corolla GTS right below my Pioneer DEH-X8500BS deck. It fits really well, was a no brainer to install, and worth the money. Mine came free with my CD player though.

This pocket fit perfect in my Toyota under the radio. The fit is like OEM looks like it was suppose to be there. I had the double din Toyota radio and replaced it with a single din and had to buy something. So I found this it is nice to have a pocket so you can put things in. Thanks Sonic. Fast delivery also. I won't hesitate to buy again. If you need to fill in that space under your after market radio and you have a double din and you are going to a single din radio you need this.

Didn't Fit Correctly

Could never fit it right, so I just shoved it in there with a hammer and screwed it in. Don't think I can take it out if I tried.

sonic brackets are fantastic

I didn't use the bracket because the radio went into a toyota tercel and the new radio just hooked up to the bracket in the car and I reused the old pocket from the toyota
the pockets and adapters that sonic give with purchase are an incredible deal

Simple "filler" box fills the hole quite nicely when putting a single unit into a double slot and provides a handy cubby hole in your dash!

Sweet Deal

Quality JVC in dash hd radio. Cons: Not sold on HD radio qualit; cuts in and out, though nothing to do with the receiver itself. Pros: price was awesome and included free harness and kit. Would definitely do business with Sonic Electronix again.

I installed a Single DIN head unit in a Double DIN slot in my Toyota. This product fit in like factory. Now I have a place to put in my iPod or Phone.

Works just great

Fit just like I wanted it to. It even had extra screw holes for the different mounting options.

Actually it did not work

The adapter was improperly built and I had to use the existing factory adapter to make the the new car stereo work. It was a pain but it worked out reasonably well. Not perfect but serviceable.

This pocket is decent, but not as good as the stock one. It is entirely plastic, and feels rather cheap when compared with the stock, which has a closable cover and fabric inside. Does its job though.

Fit the hole, and works like it is supposed to. Bag had a hole in it so I didn't get some of the screws... bad packaging.

Perfect Fit

This pocket looks and fits in my truck like it came from the factory. I will soon be ordering another for my car. Quality of this piece is a definite 5 out of 5.

Good Product

This really helped a lot. The part comes for a variety of installations. It was necessary to use a dremel to cut various parts of and shape it a little. Fits in space great, and looks great when done. Lower pocket is a little loose but not bad.

Fit nicely

It is just a plastic pocket to make up the 2nd half of what was a double DIN head unit, but it fit nicely in my Avalon.

Great System But Installation Kit Disapointing

This kit came as part of the Pioneer car radio system I purchased as a birthday gift. Yes, it was all inclusive with the price of the radio system (which I must say is and was described by the receiver as the "bomb". He
loves everything about it.
But, the expert who had the responsibility of putting the kit in had all kinds of problems because even though I gave the exact make & year of the vehicle the cradle that came with it did not fit as it was suppose to so we had to go to a PetBoys and purchase another which was an added expense and of course time consuming. But, in all honesty other than the inconvenience and added expense I couldn't have given a better gift.

This unit is a decent enough unit, with an excellent fit, the pocket below is ok just seem a bit cheaply made when compared to the OEM unit. Installation was straight froward and quick enough.

Have this product in my 1993 Toyota Pickup 4x4. Excellent fitment and finish. Product could be improved by adding a non-slip surface. Any item that I put in there...cell phone, remote, CD case...doesn't matter...it slides out onto the cab floor upon acceleration.
Ultimately, I am not able to use the cubby hole for anything, but it looks nice and fills the hole in the dash quite well.

Easy fitt!

Better than the original

I needed this to adapt my stereo in the dash of my '97 Toyota Previa. It's better than the original dash insert with well thought out screw inserts. A perfect fit and great bargain.

not needed

this came with the deck i purchased from sonic. it wasnt needed and i just tossed it. but its a hard plastic but i did not need it for my 99 rav4. the great thing with sonic is most the time they include the install kit, wire harness and dash kit. some cars need them and some dont. i cant complain tho. glad i had it and didnt need it. i only buy from sonic.
