Gets the job done

The harness plug works perfectly in my '97 Saab 900, BUT I had to reconfigure the pin layout to match the in-car wiring (example: yellow wire on this harness plug which is radio constant power DID NOT match up with the constant power wire on the factory radio connector. I had to move it to a different spot in the harness plug). I'm glad I double checked the factory wiring diagram, because wiring my aftermarket radio harness to this harness plug color-for-color would have created a short somewhere.

It was alright..

I ordered this for my 1999 Passat and it fit and all but I'm guessing it was for a newer model because it had wires that we supposed to be for the stereo options on the steering wheel (which my model doesn't have) but other than that it fit well all I did was cap off the unneeded wires and I was good to go.

Works in my 2004 GTO

This wiring harness works just fine in my 04 Pontiac GTO. Read the notes that come with it though, you may need to add or remove a wire or two depending on your application. Overall a solid piece.

Oh, and unless you're really crunched for time and don't care too much about having an install that will last for the length of your components, solder and heat shrink wrap your connections. Not hard to do or learn, soldering gun is $30-something and you won't have to worry about your connections coming loose or degrading later in life.

Don't install a headunit without one!

If you are planning on installing an aftermarket headunit in any vehicle, get a vehicle specific wiring harness like this one. Keeps the original harness in tact, while giving you new wires to connect to your head unit. Makes installation a lot easier and cleaner, while having the option to revert to your stock unit if needed. Don't cut your factory wiring harness. Do it properly and get one of these.

Good set of adapter cables

If you want to install an aftermarket radio (in this case a Pioneer GPS) into a B5.5 platform Audi A4/S4, then these adapter cables make it easy and a snap. All connectors you will need are included and work as advertised, including the assignment of the cables that are color-coded to the OEM harness. Easy to install, quick, good quality connectors, seems like quality is up to par with OEM, complete and with pretty decent instructions. Nothing wrong with this set at a very good price.

Was exactly what I needed to get my stereo hooked up to my 90 Jetta. Wiring was a snap and even gave me a few inches to work with when installing. There wasn't much slack in the wiring to work with in my car.

had to make a tweak but it worked

I was having problems with losing all my radio settings when I turn off the car. After diagnosing the problem I found that the normal and keep alive power wires were switched. I swapped them and all was well.

Direct fit for factory plug and helpful advice about whether or not to use some of the wires depending on the year. Each wire is labeled so instillation was easy no looking at the schematic for colors and designations of wires.

Works on my 05 lotus elise

Works as it should. Just had to switch the red and yellow wires to the head unit for lotus configuration. Connector is the same.
