not what i was expecting
Bass blockers are great to protect your full range speakers from damage when using the front and rear channels on your head unit. Unfortunately, this particular rating of one will block almost all of your mid range frequencies. I bought them thinking i would block the lower bass frequencies to my replacement full range speakers and it made them sound basically like i had tweeters instead of full range. So if your looking to block bass, these are not the ones you want. This is more for use on tweeters.
