Excellent adapter!

I got this network adapter figuring it might speed up my programming of the Scytek alarms and remote starters, but it adds so much more functionality to the whole system. Enhanced settings and excellent diagnostic menus in the software help me diagnose and test my installs without going through hassle. Worked great out of the box and I have had no issues since. Only drawback is needing the AC adapter when connected outside the vehicle, but nothing major.

Owned with VisionGuard 8000, it will only program remotes.

I have had a VisionGuard8000 for years. The Cnet {aka skyport} i have had with the serial connection and only needed an RS-232 adapter to convert it to work via USB. This is the only model alarm this software does NOT work on. It allows you to program remotes only. No other variables can be retrieved or configured with this model. It is safe to say this software was written before VG8000 came out and they never updated it in the newest version of software as of 2013.

Thanks for permit me make some comments about this product than buy 6 months ago.

Respect to product quality is excelent. Although I experimented some problems with the connection across Wizard C-Net Scytek software that not recognize the Visionguard 8000 device when connect it. I thank that may have some problems with the C-Net software version. I attempt download again from Scytek web site but without success.
