i got this alarm after someone busted out my back window in my 96 explorer xlt. it was only $36 so i didnt think i would work in the way it should. but IT DOES!! this alarm works perfect. i put a lot of high end car audio in my truck and i trust this alarm to work as good as a $*** unit! i saved 100s by buying this alarm and installing it my self over going to my towns big car audio store. and was not hard to put in at all about 3 hrs time from start to finish. i have only had 1 false alarm in the week or 2 it has been in now, and that was because a vary vary loud car was right next to my truck. other then that it gives goods alarm warning sound, like if someone was to run into my truck when walking by it would only give a warning. but if u hit to hard the alarm will go off. only down fall of the unit i would say is that the wires for it a kinda short... its a real good alarm for the price

Good product, works great!

I was very impressed with how well the SP400 works for such a low price. I was looking for a basic alarm with the ability to control other functions, and it does. Great value. Only issue was the shock sensor plug did not fit the control module, but I was not planning on using it anyway.
