Great value
I bought these to replace my rear speakers and the difference is amazing. The added sound damping mats truly do help in muffling the rattles when the music is playing.

2005 Dodge Caravan
2005 Dodge Caravan restoring the sound system. Eight years ago I purchased two sets of 6 x 9 kicker speakers. They are great. I just learned that I have wires to Connect dashboard speakers. I am very happy with the kicker brand. I just finished installing the speakers and they sound awesome . Thank you sonic for the great price and high-quality and fast shipping.

A little pressure, and patience
So we started by figuring out the screws a d what ones to use where. I drilled a pilot whole for the shorter screws to attach the speakers to the pods. That worked out great. Then I used the longer screws that came with the speakers to replace the old screws I had kept for mounting the speaker pods into place. Before I did any of that I played with the metal price in the dash to get it removed. I tried using my tin snips, but it just didn't want to slice through as well as I planned, plus my patience was wanting it go faster, so I grabbed a little hacksaw blade and holder, and cut through the metal so the kids would fit. Once I had one done I use the old technique of bend it until it broke off. I used my pliers to bend the edges a bit, and the pods fit right in. I was wanting to use the covers for the speakers because the look cool, but it's to tight to have them on and still fit into the dash. They look nice. I put the cover back on the dash and they fit great. I would say I am pretty pleased how it all went. Just have a little patience, and put a little pressure on them when you got to put them in and everything will turn out great! Get ready to ROCK!

Ready!
Putting them into the pods was easy. I prefilled the pods so I could screw them in really easy. They look nice. The plastic is way better then the old paper/cardboard cones from the past. I wish we could of used the cover on the front, because it looks good. They just won't fit in the dash if they are on. To tight of a fit. As for the way they sound, I have no n idea yet, I am in the process of replacing the entire sound system in the jeep. I am ready to hear the ROCK!!

Best Bang for Buck!
My factory speakers gave out on my audi s6, these Kickers were a lifesaver. They were easy to install and I instantly heard a difference. Best bang for your buck, no doubt about it.
