Sennheiser Headphone cushions.
Purchased the cushion replacement in August and was pleased with the quality of the product. Once old cushions were reomved, installation was a breeze. The product is as advertised and recommende for anyone who needs replacement cushions

Perfect Fit
The replacement pads were simple to put on and the fit exactly as expected. They came very quickly.

Expensive for what you get
These appear to be the same as the original pads: they are a piece of foam attached to a flat plastic backing sheet, which in turn adheres to the inner side of the headband (one for each side). The original pads are removed from my HDR 170 by finding the edge of the plastic backing sheet, getting a fingernail underneath it, and just peeling it off. It is well-adhesed but comes off without undue difficulty. The replacements are simply pressed into place. A simple fix at a galling price -- these should be $5 a pair, not $15. Not blaming Sonic -- I presume the retail price is driven by the wholesale price.

Factory replacement - easy to install
Simply peel the old pads off and replace with the sticky-taped new pads. No mechanical disassembly necessary. The thin outer skin of the headband pads and the ear pads degrades over time with the skin flaking off from the underlying cushion. Replacing both restores the comfort and appearance of the headphones.
