I have bought Akai speakers in the past and they were great, so I decided to take a chance and purchased this Akai bluetooth speaker. Boy was I glad I did. The size and quality are excellent, especially the price! I highly recommend this Akai bluetooth speaker. I have seen smaller sizes and higher prices and they don't compare to this. Most appreciated by far!

Very happy with this product. It sounds great, works far like they claim, but I paid higher ($49.99). I recommend you put it in a corner for best low end response. It gets really loud and doesn't distort at any volume from my iphone. I am not that concerned that it doesn't have a remote. Would be cool if it had radio or usb output for charging but I still think it was a very nice buy at the price I paid and good now. PS. I am posting this on Black Friday.

These headphones were a great buy for something better than a department store brand without paying insane out of pocket. I just wish there was a mute or volume control along with the headphones and that the cable wasn't as flimsy!

Well I bought it for a bluetooth speaker it's desktop therefore not portable deleiverd extradoniary sound but it does lack very little in bass , if the bass was bit stronger , my preference. my issue is that if you are not playing music after a while the bluetooth speaker goes into standby mode therefore having to get up and manually press the button which is the major downside

I received this speaker as a Christmas gift. I have been using it for past two weeks, and love it. It is easy to use and connects quickly to my Ipad. and Iphone. It has a very nice sound, and I have it centrally located in my house and it projects well without being overpowering. I would recommend it as a stationary speaker, as it does not operate wirelessly. If that makes a difference one would want to continue looking.

Great Bluetooth Speaker

This is a wonderful speaker for the price. It sounds good and when it's turned up it doesn't distort the value of the music like some speakers do. It's super easy to use and I would buy more if needed. I would also buy this product as a gift for others too.

I have been looking for a nice Bluetooth speaker to use around the house and garage, and I came across this gem. I bought it because of the few reviews it had and the price was too good to not try it. Most times in life when something is said to be great and the price is cheap the product usually doesn't stand up, but this one sure does!

Better than I thought

Other than a more expensive pair of Sennheiser headphones, these are by far the most comfortable headphones I have. I look a little goofy wearing them around town, but at home they're perfect (I've got a big head!). I highly recommend them, as the sounds is crystal clear, and it handles high and low pitches/tones surprisingly well.

Excellent value, but what's with the skinny cord?

I got these on sale for under $30. Love them. but I must admit I have no expectation of a long healthy life for them. They sound genuinely excellent (unbelievably good for the price!) and are actually very comfortable (love the fabric for the ear pieces), but the cord is super-thin and flimsy-feeling. Unless it is a lot stronger then it looks & feels, I fully expect to accidentally get up one day with it plugged into my PC and rip it out of the headphones (at this price point you do not get removeable cords). This cord is only about 1.5mm in diameter and does not inspire confidence. If these headphones had a tougher/remoevable cord, I would be perfectly happy. Note: Seinheiser really does conquer all--these were $26 (I think) and sound better than anything else I have tried lately (including Beats), including many sets costing much, much more.

I always do extensive research on all products I buy including user and tech reviews, in store test drives and price comparisons. That being said I got this product during a special one day deal and I had to rely on quick web skim. I knew Sennheiser quality from another headphone set I got on big online retailer so I knew I go not go to far off course buying these. I got as an easy travel set to drown out noise on plane and look at vids. It worked well. The set can in a new blister packaging. The earcups covered my entire ear keeping almost all sound out. It was very lightweight but felt sturdy. Cord is not detachable and thin but feels sturdy enough although I was constantly aware of need to avoid snagging. Sound quality was above average - think subpar Bose but superior to run of the mill earbuds. I have had other headsets, compared to Beats, sound is slightly muddier without crystal clarity but for average user I(like myself) it was better than fine. The real value was the price - I got 2 of these for under $20 each...Yup I could not believe it. Set is not foldable so either it takes up a ton of carry on space or you wear it onboard. It did not have a case. I would buy again especially at the price point I got it at.

HD 419 Great buy

I like the hd419. I doubt one could find another headphone for this price and quality that sound any better. I also have a px100 on ear headphone which sounds excellent for the price. It is lighter weight for long wearing sessions.

I had to search and search for a Bluetooth speaker. I didn't want a rechargeable speaker. I wanted one that sits in one spot plugged in. The first one was a "good" name brand and I couldn't get it to pair. The second one looked okay in the box but once I unpacked it it was flimsy and cheap. I saw a link for the Akai speakers on a bargain finder site and ordered them. The price for two was great. The speakers paired immediately, sound great and have a good sound. I have one in the kitchen and one in a bedroom and will probably order two more. Our house has weird cement filled cinderblock interior walls and the Bluetooth signal still works thought the entire house.

These headphone have great ergonomics and sound quality. They are a little on the bassy side but not too much. They block out a good bit of external noise too. Overall, you won't get better for the price.

Room speaker

I use this speaker everyday as soon as I get home to relax. I have it synced to my phone so while I am in the fridge looking for a snack and my beer I am turning on my music. Great sound and is perfect for my bedroom or the living room with guests.

This speaker exceeded my expectations. Even watching the review videos had me anxious to get the speaker home to try it. It really sounds true like high end speakers when listening for clarity of voice and various instruments. There is no distortion when you crank up the sound. The treble is superb. The bass is lacking a little however the clarity of the sound makes it less noticeable. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for hig end performance at an affordable price.

HD 419 is a good buy

The Sennheiser HD419 shares the high quality of other Sennheiser audio products without the high price of some. The cord is a bit short and easily damaged, however, so take care with it. Otherwise, I've had much satisfaction with these over-the-ear phones and recommend them.

I bought 3 of these early summer. One for myself that I use in my garage and other two for adult children. Bluetooth works great, sound for the money is great. I read other reviews about how it lacks bass or there is no remote.......Seriously it is $20. I just purchased 12 more of these for Christmas gifts. You can't go wrong for the price.

Good bass, good clarity. Used mainly for video and sometimes for jazz cd's. There is no problem with cord if being cautious.

So far so good. My only concern is that I worry that the wire to connect to my phone or tablet seems a little flimsy to me. Time will tell. Did quite well on my flights to and from Australia but felt I had to be very careful.

The one I used has been working now for 4 years at work with no problems and I work at a truss plant, which means a dirty dusty environment. Seems to play loud enough, though it's just there for background noise. The Bluetooth range on mine is around 100' inside a metal building. Going outside the building, even 10 feet away from the speaker, and audio begins to cut out (interference from the metal building I guess). Not a real issue though, I just leave my phone plugged into a charger on the table near the speaker, especially since the battery on my phone drops quick when paired to the speaker.

I purchased this product a couple of months ago and it is one of the best sounding bluetooth speakers I have purchased. Most blue tooth speakers are really small and sound awful, this speaker gets pretty loud for only one speaker being connected and no kind of amplifier hooked up to it. The other night my wife and I was sitting on the couch listen to music and the sound was really amazing. It sounded as if we were sitting in a movie theater. It has a deep rich bass that even amazed my wife. I would definitely recommend this product. If your looking for good sound at a very reasonable price this is the product for you. It would make a good speaker for out in the garage while working on the car. Today I will be taking it outside while I wash the car and I'm hoping it sounds as good outside as it does inside. Definitely a nice speaker but, doesn't provide much bass tho. Works well, looks nice, perfect size for any office and gets decently loud. I do like the answer call button when paired with my cell phone which is definitely perfect for office use, as long as there's nobody around to listen to your conversation since it is a speaker. Surprising

When I received the unit I was a little bit spectacle. However When I hooked up, it connected and started playing almost immediately. The sound quality also surprised me in that it was much richer than I thought it might be.

Stopped Working

I purchased the Akai CE7200 before Christmas. It arrived on time, packaged good, the right size to fit in any space to bring a good appearance around the house. The audio was good but the volume could have gotten a little louder. The blue tooth never worked. I had to keep the device connected to the speaker. I didn't use it for about three weeks. When I tried to turn it on, it won't turn on.
Meaning I used it three times during the Christmas holiday and it hasn't worked since then.
I would love to return it and receive a refund, because I don't trust getting another to replace the faulty one. It may be a let down too.
I really thought I had purchased a great product. I was WRONG.

Good Sound

This speaker is great. Love the sound although it could be a tad bit louder but for the price of 20 it surpasses all of the others that I have bought. The only downside is that I thought it was a portable speaker. Just a bit of a hassle to only use it by an outlet.
