Good sound, but starts to hurt after awhile
Good, hi fidelity sound, good bass response. But after 30 minutes or so, my ears begin to hurt & I find myself pulling them away for relief. Earbuds might be better for those 2 hr movies. Pairing 2 headphones with the transmitter not intuitive. Have directions handy.

great sound
I purchased these to upgrade to a better wireless headset. These are great. I now choose to listen to TV over these as they are better than the speakers I have on my tv. I am losing my hearing, and these are clear and bring out sounds I haven't heard in years. It did take some time to sync the headsets. You must be patient. It takes a minute or so, but worth the time.

Good expansion headphone
These are the same headphones that come with the RS160. They provide excellent sound quality for TV, home theater, or just about any sound source. On many sites, purchasers of HDR 160/170/180 headphones have complained that the phones don't pair properly with the transmitter and/or won't work with multiple headsets. They work fine! ... if you follow Sennheiser's directions exactly. The headphones are very comfortable at first, but become less comfortable over time. (Hence, 3 stars for "ease of use.")
