Speech intelligibility

Husband is hard of hearing. He can always hear the dialogue above the music or special effects. I put a piece of Velcro on the on/off button so it is easy to find and orients us to volume up or volume down. The surround sound and boost buttons do not interfere with being able to hear the dialogue.I have not owned the product long enough to determine its durability.

Works Well

Recently I needed a second set of earphones to be used with my existing transmitter. The second set works very well. I would definitely recommend this system. I really like it.

Great Sound!

Bought this extra headset as a companion to the RS170. Sound is crystal clear and the rechargeable AAA batteries that comes with them last a long time. For a 2 hours movie each pair takes 20 minutes to recharge. If I took a guess I'd say they could last over 6 hours without recharge. Never loss the signal from one end of the house to the other. Each headset can, of course, control the volume separately but if one user turns the loudness or the soundstage effect, it is turned for the other also. Sound is pure without those effects and are not used by us.

Great Addition!

I added this extra headset to mine. Its great to hook up with my wife to watch surround sound movies and listen to the oldies! We Love having the two headsets. Their light and fun! I recommend this!
