Solid performer, but could improve on the controls

This is a good looking headset. I bought it for PS4, and I was considering an upgrade from the cheap plastic felt in more Turtle Beaches headsets at this price point(I have own 3 TB headsets and the last one was the Bravo headset Call of Duty edition).
It still has a lot of plastics on this one, but they are quality plastics and feel sturdier. All 3 of my TB headsets have damages on them because the plastics are so brittle, and if you drop them, parts of them will chip off. Since Skullcandy bought Astros Gaming, I am sure they took some of the good points from their $300 A50 while making this one, so the value is great.
I was somewhat disappointed that the headset still doesn't work completely wireless for PS4. The PlayStation will detect the headset and mic, but it won't allow for wireless chat. You still need that $10 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable from TB(which I also think Skullcandy should have included with the headset).
Another thing about the functionality, I am not too big of a fan with the limited EQ presets for this(and to be honest, it's hard to hear the differences), plus it's hard to tell where your volume is going using the game/chat volume joystick, and I think I much prefer to have a separate control for chat and game volume. The headset is also not as loud as I would prefer. The mic boom mutes automatically when it is rotated upwards, which is a very cool and convenient feature.
Other than that, the headset looks good, and feels good. The memory foam around the ear is a bit small, and I'm 6'2 so my ears are on the large side. Eventually you will feel like it's pinching your ears after 3-4 hours of gaming with it.
The base works as the stand for the headset as well, which I think is a neat feature.

Pros:
Look/Design, Style
Light weight
Quality
Sound quality
Memory foam ear cups
Value(it's hard to find so much quality for this price really)

Cons:
Not 100% wireless with PS4(Still need a chat cable connected to controller)
Chat cable not supplied
Game/chat volume joystick control is not as definitive
No separate chat and chat volume control
Only 3 EQ presets
Volume not loud enough
Ear cup size is a little on the small side.

I would recommend it to a friend, but due to the fact that it is not 100% wireless with PS4, my TB Bravo actually has similar functions and works as well as this headset. TB Bravo has bigger ear cups (but no memory foam). But until Sony fixes the PS4 issues with its wireless chat compatibility issues, I would stick to Sony's own $99 headset which seem to work very well despite the bad mic and sound quality.

Equal to My Klipsch Surround Sound

I have a $3500 Klipsch Surround Setup in my Media room with a 60-Inch Samsung 3-D TV, but I prefer the headset when playing BF4 because the Clarity & 7.1 Surround sound is on another level. I've owned Turtle Beach, & currently on a pair of Tritton 720's, but I must say that these are hands down my favorite in sound quality. The 3 different sound settings are perfect for 1st Person Shooters, I use them differently depending on the Game Mode I'm playing, I use Precision Mode on team Death Match to hear footsteps & reloads & high base in Conquest & Rush ect. U won't be Dissapointed with these puppies. The only slight downside is, if you have a larger head or huge ears could be a problem kinda on the smallish side. For measuring purposes I wear a 7 1/4 baseball cap & it fits me perfectly, & I have average size ears. A PS4 Owners Dream Headset at a great price the best bang for your buck on the Market. I've spent $250+ on headsets but nothing compares to these. I'm somewhat of a sound fanatic. Salute to SkullCandy!!!

Great Value, still nos PS4 full support :(

Actually I'm really satisfied with this product as the quality is just great, what made me a bit sad is that it is not fully supported by the ps4 system makin it hard to custom configure the sound output.
