Sonic Sub Box

For the Money you can beat this subbox, I put a 10 inch Polk DXi Subwoofer with just shy of a pound of Polyfil and powered it with a 260 watt MB Quart amp and the Bass is so Deep and Sooo clean. People are astonished when I show them it is just a 10 sub making all that wonderful Bass. I am 38 years with kids so I am not trying to win Competitions like I did 20 years ago. I was looking at SO boxes at Crutfield which were twice the cost, the SO boxes did have some internal bracing but if you are needing a Box for sub that it under 600 watts this Box is perfect. Great Value! Great Box!

I was initially concerned that this box was sooo cheap that the quality wasn't gonna be there, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The box is soundly built, and was exactly what I was looking for.

Great VALUE

I needed a box to go with my Alpine type and I was a little bit sketched out by the price because it was so cheap, and normally you get what you pay for, but with this box I got much much more than I payed for. My Type R runs at 500 watts RMS and this box is more than capable of housing it. You could go out and spend 60 bucks on a similar box or spend the cheap 20 bucks and get basically the same thing here.

small efficient box

I have a Pioneer Premier Pro 10" sub installed in this box and it sounds great... plenty of room left over in my VW Golf as well so this box is very useful.

I had a few air leaks from the box not being sealed properly on the inside... I then removed the sub and resealed all the inside joints with silicone...(Make sure to check your box before installing the sub) Otherwise a great little box... Fits my Mustang while leaving lots of trunk space...

Great product

This sub box was perfect for my 10 inch alpine sub. The carpet finish on the box matches almost perfectly with the inside of my trunk. It is also very sturdy and well built, as I have mounted my amp on the back of the box to save more space in my trunk. A great product for the price!

sweet box!

The box arrived with one dime-sixed dent on the top corner but all in all is an awesome deal! i haven't had any problems with it and it sounds great ; ) The sub box had a dime-sized dent on the top edge. There wasn't much padding when I received it and I think the shipping box could've been a little bit bigger too in order to accommodate more padding/protection.

Primo Box

Nice looking box, the carpet matches my trunk's carpet, and the angle goes with the angle of the back seat. Nice and solid too.

excellent value

i definitely recommend these subwoofer boxes. i had 2 10" boston g3 subwoofers mounted in them and they held up great. i dont really care for the terminals but there not terrible. for the money i dont think these can be beat.

Its great! but...

For the price it is really good, and I like the size also, but when I got mine I had to make the hole bigger because my 10 Inch sub would not fit on the "10 Inch Opening " they made.

had my 10" sub in a larger box, this box is about half and the size and it sounds decent.

Excellent box

This is a very well made box and I would pay twice the money. Very happy with my purchase. Nice carpeting, sturdy construction, and 3/4 fiberboard, what more could you ask for, for the price.

Great box for jeeps

This box is perfect for jeeps. I put one in my 2002 jeep grand cherokee and it fits great behind the back seat.

Sonic Sub Box 1H10-0.7 (Gray) Review - Read This before purchase.

The box works great. Solid, no leaks, no Rattles. However, The connection ports that lead into the box are not high quality. Mine melted after several months of normal use. I run one 10" Alpine Type-R on 600 Watts. You will need to buy a quality high performance +/- port for this box, the factory one will melt.

Solid Box, Excellent Value

I bought this box in conjunction with a 10" Pioneer TS-W259S4, and the two sound great together! The box is very solid and very well made; no rough edges, thick unwrinkled carpeting, and a nice solid speaker connector (needed just a touch of tightening, but it's fine). It sounds and looks terrific - matches my Civic's trunk carpet almost exactly.

A solid, well built box at a very good price.

I bought the box because it was cheap and had the volume I was looking for.

When I got it I was very pleasantly surprised. The box is well sealed, with good terminal hardware. It just feels really heavy duty, and all the carpet and edges are well glued and trimmed. Really no complaints at all.

Thicker walls than many other boxes available too, if you check around.

Great looking box

Looks like the pic. My speaker terminal is on the right side of the speaker instead of left side as in the pic. It has bolt-on or solder-on wire connections inside and screw down connectors on the outside. Also, width is about 13in wide instead of 14. My measured interior Vol was around .644 cu ft. This is actually better for the speaker I'm using than the stated Vol. At any rate, this was a smoking deal for my purpose.

good box

The angle of the cut-off side perfectly matches my seat back, and the width fits the 40 side of my 60/40 split fold down back seat (2004 Subaru Forester). The box is well-built and all the corners are sealed up. Remember, what you see is what you get. No hook-up wire, no grill, no pre-drilled screw holes, just the box you see in the picture. Finger tight screw terminals on the outside are nice, but the inside terminals are design for solder connection, or for you to undo the nut and connect a crimped "eye" to the stud.

Good choice

This box was just the size I needed for my sub. When I got it, it seemed sturdy, completely sealed, and looked nice. So far it's working perfect... Oh, and I haven't seen this size box anywhere else for less than double what it is here.
