enclosed hatchback subwoofer box

I would give this enclosed an 8 out of 10. Nice solid box and great size for a smaller hatchback. The angle of the of the box that sits against the seat is not even close to the right angle though. It asked for what style of car I had and still doesn't match up. Not a huge deal but I like things to fit snug and correct.

Okay enclosure

The hole is only 11". Most subs are 11.16" cutout diameter. So this needs to be trimmed to fit most subs. I highly recommend resealing the enclosure. I used liquid nails. I took the terminal cup off, trimmed the carpet and used liquid nails to seal the terminal cup back to the enclosure.

Good Quality at a Good Price

I’ve bought a few boxes through Sonic. It’s really tough to beat the price. It would be tough to build one for this price considering the price of MDF. These are well made and have good sound quality. They seem to hold up pretty well. I quit using this one because I bought a double sealed box when I added a sub. That one also from Sonic and still going strong after about a year. I’m now getting into building custom ported boxes, if not for that I would buy another sealed box from Sonic any day.

Its a box....It works well

Sub has held together great. If you dont want to mount an amp to the any interior surface of you car this is a perfect box, also has lots of space to mount a amp on top. Be sure to seal every possible crevice terminal panel, screw holes, sub mounting area.

Pros
-Clean bass
- Deep bass
- Cheap
- Sturdy Box

Con
-leaks out of the terminal panel so I had to make an o ring
