great box

This box does the job for a low price! i have my 1000 watt sub in it and it hits hard. Great sealed enclosure for the money!

Enclosed Sub Box

This box was perfect for my 12" Hertz Sub. Built nice for the price, I did take the plastic wire conection out glue a piece of wood in its place carpet it and run and silacone my wire direct to the sub, no leaks or rattles this way. Also lined it with acustic foam and polyfiled it. Sounds great! Sonic also shipped it right out got it in like 3 days, Thanks Sonic for great products at low prices!

Don't be fooled by the price. it is a very nicely built, low dollar box. I have a pioneer premier champion pro subwoofer in it and it holds up to whatever i put it through

Solid Box, Great Value

This box is surprisingly solid for the price, and the carpet seems pretty good. Would definitely buy again.

Solid Box

This box is a good box if your not powering too much. Im using a 300 watt sub for it and the box is holding up just fine. I have seen and owned way better quality boxes but this thing is still good.

Good Box for the Price

The box was well made with gold connectors and carpet material outside. The box was strong enough to hold the powerful sub-woofer I put in it. The value for the price can't be beat.

Average quality at best.

The sub box was a perfect fit for my sub, with 3/4" mdf board. But was not of quality, the fabric. The fabric was not glues down properly or was it a strong material. It has started to peel in corners and from where the seams meet.

Works Great!

This box has held up perfectly! I'm using a bridged 1k watt Kenwood amp with a 3500 Watt Pioneer Premier Sub. (I blew out a previous Pioneer Sub with 1200Wat peak power, so I decided to increase the max rating with the replacement.)

The bass response is very linear, as one would expect from a properly sized sealed enclosure.

This is the only box which matched the sub's (uniquely small) space requirements.

This box was smaller than I originally thought it would be, but it looks fantastic and its very well built. Made my sub hit some TIGHT bass!

THIS BOX DOES A GOOD JOB JUST FILL IT UP WITH A LITTLE BIT OF POLYFILL AND YOU WILL DO JUST FINE. AND THE BOX IS GREAT BECAUSE YOU ARENT SACRIFICING A LOT OF SPACE DEFINEATEY RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY. AND THE COLOR ON THE PICTURE SHOWS GREY BUT IT ACTUALLY DARK BLACK.

Wrong internal volume

the internal volume of this box is actually .727 because the specs do not take into account the sides of the box are within the front and back panel making the internal measurements 11.5 x 11.5 x 9.5. quality formed box but smaller than labeled.

Sonic Box

This is a pretty good box. The frequency response is much more linear than a ported box. I used a TS-W3001D2 (high power but requires a smaller box due to Pioneer's "air suspension system."
Even though the box isn't the loudest thing in the world (500 watt BASH amp), it's in a bedroom so it doesn't need to be. For that purpose, it sounds good and is plenty loud.
The only thing I would be cautious of is the connector. It seems a little brittle and I'm not sure how it would fare if it was left to bounce around in a trunk.

Excellent Product

Great! Works beautifully with my 12" R-type! This is a quality box that looks much darker and smoother than the picture suggests. I HIGHLY recommend this box and thats coming from a guy who listens to everything from Biggie Smalls to Led Zeppelin.

Nice box, sad terminals

I ordered four of these and they were exactly what i wanted. They look good and sound good. One big problem though- The terminals suck!! They're super cheap. I knew they wouldn't last the moment i saw them and sure enough they fell apart and actually melted so i had to switch them out. Other than that I liked the boxes.

Perfect Box!

This box comes completely assembled and its a great value! It's very small but produces a great sound! I have in 12" Alpine Type E with a 300 watt Alpine amp. All aroud great box and it looks grey in the picture but its a dark black with looks great!

Nice box for nice price...

If you're looking for a good sealed box to push a single sub, this box does it well. I bought this box for a single Kicker Solo Classic 12" sub and the box is holding up great after six months of pushing that sub with a Kicker SX650.1 amp.

Very Basic, but nice

I actually have used this box as an extension cabinet for my guitar amps. I had an extra 12" guitar speaker sitting around and wanted an inexpensive enclosure for it. This cab has worked quite well. I am very pleased with it. Very solid, no frills, works as advertised. I would buy again without reservation. That said, I am not sure how it would perform with a Sub, so there you go.

What more can you ask for?
Make sure to put gorrilla glue around the terminals cup so air does not escape.
Price can not be beat.

Sonic 1SL12 Box is very nice

I bought this box to house a pionerr premier something or the other and it sounds great. I have a ton of trunk space, but wanted to use some of it so I went with a smaller box. The terminals are nice and let you lay the box pretty much however you want. The have also not melted whcih I had happen with some really cheap boxes. Pushing 3000 watts at 1 ohm, that kind of thing can happen. Still get the nice new box smell when I really crank the bass.
The small air space keeps the base tight and it works well for a mix of metal, punk, and rap once in awhile. Need the power with a sealed box though.

Good box

I recommend this box for anybody looking for a simple box for their sub. This box held my alpine type r good with no problems.

Can't beat this for the price.

I would highly recommend this box. To fit my Stereo Integrity BM MKIII subwoofer I did need to carve out about 1 mm overall diameter for the mounting area but this was expected because of the solid basket design on that subwoofer. Most subwoofers with stamped or cast frames will not have this issue. Also, I would recommend using caulk around the speaker terminal as it has a pretty large gap between the plastic and the box itself. One of the terminals has rattled loose but will be easily fixed by tightening from the inside. Overall, I paid less for this box than it would have cost to build it myself, saving me time and effort. Great value!

solid box

I am impressed with the design of this box. The cut and build is solid inside out. I love the easy use of terminals as well. The lining are straight and durable. Carpet is just as you would expect for a good finish. Wood quality is good. It's not going to win show awards but for someone who needs a enclosure for a daily set-up, this can't be beat!
