Black 12" Sub Box

Bigger than my pervious box that had a slant back. This box was a solid cube. More Cubic feet for the high excursion 12" I was using. Box was built well, I added a little extra caulk on the inside corners of the box because of the wattage I was going to push. Box was wrapped very well in the black carpet. If I needed another sub box in the future I def. would get another one from Sonic. Came in great shape through the mail too. Very pleased. Terminals are what you would expect from a cheaper sub box, but did the job nicely for how much it cost. This box was a great value.

Good Box

I put an Infinity shallow sub that I got in a combo in it and it sounds much better then my old MTX in a ported box.

Sonic Sub Box: 1SL12-1.4

I actually used this Subwoofer box in an audiophile subwoofer system I built for my high-end home audio use. I used the new Infinity Kappa 120.9W subwoofer and powered it from an outboard subwoofer amplifier. The sound is better than my expectations with deep, smooth bass perfect for my sound system. I would suggest a pound or two of fiber-fill inside to dampen out reflections and virtually increase the size of the box.

Low price. Great sound.

I used this box with one JL Audio 12w6v2 to replace a ported box. Sounds sooo good. Pros: Price, prebuilt, box quality. Cons: cheap Terminals.

Heard on of these, about to purchase.....

One of my friends has a JL Audio 12w6v2 in one of these enclosures and in my opinion it sounds a little better than the power wedge JL enclsure.

Nice

This box can handle the beating of my audiobahn awes12p at 1100 watts rms. It's black carpeting is a perfect match for my vehicle's interior, and I'd recommend it.

Good box

Not much has to be said. The box arrived a while ago and has survived this long. It's hard to give a box a bad rating. I mean it holds my Adire Audio Shiva "Classic" and hasn't fallen apart. What more could you possibly want?

Ehh.

The design of these boxes are great. Trust me, I am putting the durability to the test. They are very well sealed and overall constructed. The Terminals are well mounted.
