My Sonic Sub Box is made of high quality materials, excellent design, and construction, and many modern innovations that many companies have never even heard of. This is what separates Sonic Electronics from all of the rest. Sonics devotion to customer service is second to none. The banana clips I purchased were of the most high quality, at a price that is very fair in today's market. I have recommended to all of my friends and family, and now many are lifetime customers just as I am. Finally...

I always terminate any wire to protect it from breaking down when I inevitably disconnect them. However, (don't ask me why), I never terminated the wire going to my subwoofers. I finally decided to terminate them with banana plugs. I had never needed to use these types of connectors, but I am glad I did. I was able to use a thicker wire (10 gauge) with these plugs, and they fit into the subwoofer box terminals quite firmly. These are "lifetime" feeling terminals, and are very nicely priced, as only SE does it. Thanks, SE!

Great passthrough. Poor banana clip holders

The connectors are gold all the way through and provide excellent power pass through, gets way louder than my old terminals. Does not hold banana clips in. Purchased banana clips of same brand at same time and they keep falling out. Skipped bananas and use these wired directly to terminal.

Used these on a 12" 400W RMS SPL sub and they pound super loud, as loud as when wired directly to terminal. Hold in great to terminal.

Banana Clip terminals

I had purchased the banana clips for our boat. We have wake board tower speakers and these terminals fit the inputs perfectly. We had issues at first with them coming loose and falling out but they can be extended by pressing lightly on the stems. These adjustment solved the problem and they work perfect. Great product for the cost!

Didn't use them.

I have two sonic sub boxes and these don't fit with the plastic separators. I tried to remove them, but they are EXTREMELY difficult to remove. I got agitated and threw them in a box with other left over stereo stuff. They do look nice though, and if they fit your terminal cup, I expect they would work great.

Good value

These are a good value and seem to be well enough made, however, I have not used them since there was not enough clearance in my planned application. I am now planning to use them in my home stereo.
They came with a plastic clip holding them together, such that they could be plugged in as a pair, instead of separately.

The price for these and the quality of the product is great. These fit banana clips too which is nice.

Great idea

I like being able to just hook the sub with these. They make it simple. But I don't like how easily they can pop out. It does not take much to pull it out. Plus the wiring can be pulled out of the male end really easily as well.

Great Plugs

Had 'em in my mobile system for several months now and they work great even after several unplugging and replugging. Definately recommend especially with such great prices.

Helped a lot

Being new to the sub game, I had the darnedest time physically getting everything hooked up cleanly. These definitely did the trick.

quality of design

For anyone looking for a quick way to remove your subs (traveling ,luggage ,ect.) this would be the best route. They are built pretty well and won't easily break. I use them very often and they have no downside to them at all. Fits perfect with matching terminal cup. Holds well. Not too tight but just right.
