Great deck

No noise nice sound quality. Replaced my CDX-C90 with this. In some ways it is a step up (bluetooth) other ways a step down Over all for the price it is hard to beat.

Great Functionality

All the functions on this single din is great. The unit has individual settings and color to fine tune to all your music needs. I enjoy the NFC connect blu tooth which connects perfectly and fast.

I use my phone for work so I have to enter the pass-code ever time my screen shuts off. I assume if you don't have password protected phone, it would work amazingly and seamlessly.

Dual usb input is awesome. 1.3 amps for front and 2.1 amps for the rear charges my HTC One Black very fast.

Still getting used to playing with the sound and equalizer because so many options.

Blu tooth phone is a great addition with the additional mic. I previously owned the btu gt3700 which uses the Blu Tooth with out mic and the technology has advanced very far.

5volt pre amp outputs help with my two amps well RF T400-4 and RF T1500-1bdcp.

I would just like to state that I am very picky with my car audio equipment. With that being said I can say without a doubt that this head unit is outstanding. Very clear sound and the 5v rca inputs are a nice touch in this price range. The nfc pairing works really well and the sound quality is a lot better than I was expecting.. basically lossless quality (depending on your bit rate of course). I would recommend this head unit to anyone that is looking in this price range. If I had to complain about something I would say the unit does get a little warm.

Great after-market stereo

I'm not an expert on modern after-market car stereos, since this is the first one I've purchased in 10 years. However, judging from how easy it was to install, setup, and use, I am totally satisfied. It went into a 1995 Camry, and bolted in perfectly. One raised dimple had to be sanded away on the original factory radio brackets-nothing else. The supplied wiring pig-tails that connected to the factory wiring harness made connection a snap. I had the stereo up and playing in about two hours time. Fishing in the wires for the mic and USB connector took another couple of hours. But, in the end, the installation looks clean, and works great.

Note: For this installation, the supplied after-market cubby-hole-compartment supplied, was not needed nor used.

Like the title states, I'm amazed. I'm sure there are others out there but for the price and everything that comes with it? How can you beat that price? I'm normally a kenwood kinda guy but this Sony, paired with my Xperia Z, works like a champ. I'm currently running a 64GB (59.9 readable) flash drive that it reads perfectly! So now I don't have to run my Zune with all it's wires and such, this thing just runs it straight from memory, although scanning through kinda sucks but if you group them by folders it scans easier (will explain in instructions). All in all the dual USB support is also fantastic, but again I love the pairing with my mobile, allows for nearly 80% control of the whole unit to include EQ control and S.Woofer levels, more specific stuff has to be done at the HU. All in all... well done Sony, well done. Oh, I did forget to mention... it constantly changes colours until you tell it to stop... and display one of I think 5-7 presets and some of them are bit hard to see (i.e. purple, dark blue...).

Nice product

This is a nice product, got it for 2012 FLHX and it could not be any easier to change out the stock system for aftermarket. Comes with the adapter for the aswc-1 controller to make the thumb controls all function when you buy the controller. All the connections are there so no cutting. I am very happy with this product and ease of installation.

This stereo is pretty good, but is somewhat cumbersome to use. The folder or album info does not appear on the screen, and since many of my tracks are Track1, Track2 etc. I can't tell what album is playing by looking. It is OK to use while sitting still, trying to do anything while driving is almost impossible.

A step up!

A great basic upgrade from stock head unit. Swapped into my Silverado Classic with the Scosche GM1583B double din adapter.

Exactly what I needed

I"m using my ipad mini as a permanent source in my VW CC and this was just the thing I needed. It controls the ipad mini quite well via Sony App Remote. I also retained stering wheel controls via pac adapter, volume buttons works and track buttons work in pandora and iheart; also works in bluetooth via app remote. Very pleased. The only downside for me is the App Remote itself was made for iphones and not for ipads so the app looks exactly like a supersized version, a bit awkward but I can live with it. Sony get your stuff together and come out with an ipad version of this app!

Got this for my father's Harley and it works great. It's a very tight fit because it's designed to keep water out, so be prepared for an unnatural feeling when trying to slide it into the front instrument panel.

Pleased, Especially about Bluetooth Pandora Functions

What I like best is being able to leave my android phone in my pocket with Bluetooth on and Pandora paused and being able to play Pandora with 1 push of the button on the radio. Pandora songs can be skipped and stations changed also from the radio panel. A paid Pandora subscription is not necessary there are only a few commercials.

Outstanding Product!

I am very pleased with my purchase from Sonic Electronix, the Sony deck is hands down the best in dash cd player I have ever owned! It's way better than I expected. The sound clarity and features is what initially sold me onto this product. The menu is a bit daunting at first, however if you get to know the product as I did, it all becomes familiar.
I give this product four stars on durability, because my left speaker channel became intermittent, I returned it and Sonic Electronix replaced it with a new one, I received my replacement in a little over a week. Other than that it sounds and functions awesome. A bit on the pricey side. Superb Stereo!!

Just installed the head unit and it doesn't appear to be water proof but I haven't been caught in the rain yet to find out. The unit is not very user friendly and difficult to operate when not using the remote. I also can not see the screen at all during the day. It is only visible at night.
