Sony CDX-GT54UIW

I've had this head unit for a few months now and have not had any problems with it so far. I has only beginner level EQ setting, however it does have high mid and low versus the bass/treble the HPF on the front channels come in handy for removing the bass out of your door speakers. They get pretty loud over a set of TypeR 10's in a ported box being pushed to the the max by a Hifonics BRZ1200.1D. All in all its a nice low budget CD player with direct iPod connectivity. Cost me 96 shipped. The same exact Headunit at Wal-mart cost about 130 and thats without the dash and wiring kit

great produc at great price

I installed this after market radio and I'm more than happy with it. Simplicity of the radio, yet has great sound, Sonic Electronix will give you more than other store would. Free wire harness, free dash kit and great value.

Nice sound, baffling features.

This has been a good multipurpose car receiver/cd player. I bought it because it also takes USB drives. That's weird feature #1. It only takes 4G. If you try to put a bigger drive than that in the slot, it will still only play 4G. Weird feature #2: Tiny buttons. Not only are the regular selection buttons tiny, but the script above them is so tiny you can't read them. And forget about using any of them while wearing gloves. I thought it got cold in Japan. Overall: Works well, good sound, lots of options, bad execution.

I love Sony Stereos

I've own many after market stereos, like JVC, Alpines, etc, But Honestly the best I ever tried is Sony. They have a very clear Sound!!.
Is really easy to use and has many options for the sound quality. I have sub woofers and I can adjust the volume of them with the stereo with out needing a remote from the amp. The design and the blue light makes a great looking in my car. I think is pretty good for the price.
