I purchase this radio for my wife's car and she loves it.

Love it!

Easy to use, has many functions, and is more then what I expected for the price.

OUTSTANDING

I have had this head unit for about six months now. I love it! It has everything you could ask for except nav and a touch screen :) The controls are super user friendly and will have you playing with it for hours just to mess with all the new settings you can play with. I HIGHLY reccomend this!

bad a**

This deck is bad a** i love it just put it in my suv with 2 memphis mojos and wow the EQ is good and fast shipping will buy my car audio stuff from here.

Great for the price

I replaced the head unit in my 04 dodge and was surprised at the difference in sound. Thought I would have to spend over 300 hundred for a head unit with so many options and great sound. The iPod controls is easy to use. Of course like anything else you just have to get used to all the controls which I still am after a week. Lots of features. The only thing I don't like is you have to go thru the buttons to see the clock. Wish they would of put the clock in the top corner so you can see what song is playing and what time it is. Anyone looking to get their money's worth should get this system.

GR8 Head Unit for the Money

I highly recommend this product! My wife bought me this Sony to replace my old Sony CD player in my car and it sounds amazing. The dash kit and wire install kit fit great in my Toyota. The volume knob does touch the dash board kit when unit face is flipped down to insert/eject CDs, but still functions as needed. I primarily use the AUX or USB input. I installed a 350W Kenwood KAC-5203 amp and a Fosgate P310G 10" subwoofer. The unit comes with 3 pre amp rca outputs. I'm only using the SUB mono one. Sony has LPF and HPF features on this unit which produces a clean sound with no muddy bass from car speakers. Audio highs and lows have excellent separation. Navigating the different menus is user friendly as is my old Sony. The 35,000 different color display is killer! My display matches my Toyota Matrix red glow perfect. There is a random setting where unit cycles thru multiple colors which looks cool, but is very distracting when u drive. FYI, if u plan on listening to music thru the USB via a flash drive I highly recommend a MINI or MICRO flash drive with NO LED or light on it. The micro size ones r small and fit more flush to dash. My old Sandisk large usb flash drive sticks out 2"+ and has annoying lights that flashes when music is played. This is mostly a problem at night since the LED light appears brighter. Take my advice, BUY the smallest USB flash drive u can for your tunes.

Great Product!

I got this head unit the other day and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Its easy to control. The colors are great. And it sounds amazing. Very good price. The only thing I don't like is the flip down screen to put the cd in. its a great feature but if you have an aux cord in then it wont go all the waY DOWN. other than that its great.

I was looking for something to play music...

I didn't want a HU 75% dedicated to bluetooth and fancy phones, address lists, handsfree, or every iPod feature invented to date. I just wanted a HU with front AUX and USB capability, so that I could move on from CD technology. I also wanted a minimum of 4 pre-outs as all my speakers are amped. Lastly, I was keen to get some time alignment ability to get a decent sound stage.

After browsing a bunch of mid-range units I found the SONY CDX-GT605UI. It had everything I was after, and I was happy enough to accept the CD player and iPod control as part of the package. Just got it installed and was immediately impressed by the clarity and power of the radio. Obviously USB quality will be heavily dependent on the quality of the MP3's that are being played. I shall be playing FLAC files thru the AUX-IN via my Cowon digital player.

The only downside to the SONY is the awkwardness involved in attaching the drop-down faceplate. I'll have to find a work around for that. And, yeah, get a couple of those mini-USB flashdrives for your music and you will never look back :) So, not perfect, but great value and as close to ideal as you can get for someone to whom music quality is more important than gadgetry !!!

amazing radio!

I put this radio into my 1999 toyota corolla. It took me like 5 min. They sent the wiring kit and everything to make it really easy! There are so many features with this radio i strongly recommend it!

Amazing Radio

I had bought this radio about 6 months ago, and ever since I have never been less than pleased. It sounds and looks amazing. Some things I liked were the ability to change the color of the radio to many different colors and how easy and well it hooked up and played my ipod. Currently i have it hooked up for two subs and a 4 channel Polk amp for the Polk door speakers. Thanks to the 7 band equalizer tuning the radio was simple. Not only am i pleased with this radio, but so were my friends. So much so that they bought the same one and had me install it for them too. GREAT BUY. you wont go wrong with this radio.

Great Buy

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a decent and powerful radio with enough options to play with for a bit. Sounds great and definately powerful enough. Easy install ( what radio isn't) and simple controls, no real big learning curve. The remote is a great addition to the package. Good deal for the money. CONS; only one I can think of is to take off the face plate is easy enough but a little practice needed to get it back on with enough ease and less aggravation. Well worth the dough.

A bargain by far

Definitely recommend this. Just got it installed alongside my Boss Phantom sub and Phantom amp, and couldn't be happier! This deck is sleek looking, the colours are amazing, and the settings are easy to access. To get to the subwoofer control is only a couple turns of the knob away, and not a big deal at all! The menu is clear, the buttons are easy to press, and overall, it's awesome. Couldn't be better for the price!

Never ever buy this if you drive a little after dark.

This is a perfect unit for sound and useability, but the extremely irritating screen demo that loops every 5mins really gets on my nerves. It HAS to let you know that it has got so many colors and useless functions. When u have set the color to RED so u dont get blinded, and the first democolor is BRIGHT WHITE, u get my frustration. Where i live its dark from 3p.m to 9a.m......

You have to buy this Sony. It's the best you can get. Does all you would need to ever do with this Sony. It's so easy to work, best price you will get for all it has to offer. Have had this one year works just as good as it did when was new.

Great Unit!

Recently bought from Sonic Electronix. Installed easily into my 99 protege and made the stock speakers come alive! Very easy to use and lots of controls to play with. complete customization 7 band eq is perfect for tuning the speakers to your music. Would reccomend to anyone!

Sony gt650ui

I ordered this stereo from SonicElectronix, it arrived in 5 days. Its a great stereo with a lot of features. I got it professionally installed in my F150 the same day it arrived. I recommend this stereo, and I recommend Sonicelectronix.

Pros:
-many colors to choose from
-great iPod control built in, no need to buy any extra cables
-subwoofer control (I have a pair of 12' Kicker L7's in the backseat)
-you can't beat this stereo for the price imo, it has many features and its a low price.
-I like the button layout; the buttons are sturdy
-easy to use
-FM preset buttons, unlike JVC

Cons:
-I would like to see how much time is left on the song, like the way it shows on my iPod
-I would like to see the time all the time instead of having to push the Display button everytime.
-I don't use the SenseMe app or the Zappin button
-I would appreciate a button on the head unit or remote to let me tune the subwoofers more easy, instead of going through the menu everytime to adjust the bass

Great Product for the price!

I would definitely recommended this product, The product itself is great quality ( I've owned and installed this within the week, So still a beginner to it ), Easy to install, The only really big downfall of this was that the antenna cable didn't fit in the plug-in, So I have to find a adapter, But other then that, This system does exactly what it tells you, It's colors are absolutely amazing, And the features are great to - Well worth the money!
