Sony HWS-BTA2W

This product is a great solution for the hearing impaired which I am. I have Oticon hearing aids and their is an option you can buy which allows you to connect your hearing aids directly to a TV via blue tooth. The one the audiologist was selling from Oticon is $250. The one from Sony is about $60. So for 75% LESS, I am able to listen to the TV through my hearing aids rather than having to have the closed caption on. (Hearing impaired people still have trouble understanding the TV even with the hearing aids on) Bluetooth is bluetooth and as long as the device can transmit Bluetooth it will work. Its small, easy to install and it works. What more can you ask for.

Great Product, still working 5 years after purchase

Five years ago I was looking for a wireless headphone system. I hated the hiss of every FM frequency based systems I sampled so I thought I'd give Bluetooth a shot. I bought this exact transmitter model (it also will do receiver mode) as well as a set of Sony Bluetooth headphones (DR-BT22) as the same time. Superb performance no matter what I connect them to (PC's, TV's, iPod's) - as long as the device has a mini-stereo headset audio jack, this system delivers the goods.

It's also nice to see that the product is still actively sold and the price has come down considerably.

Excellent device!!

This is an Excellent device, I use it as a receiver to listen to Internet radio on my smart phone to my home stereo, and also use it to transmit cd's to wireless headphones. Easy to pair and compact design I would recommend this item for anyone looking for for a bluetooth device

I have been using this SONY for my Bluetooth headset. I use it most nights to listen to TV while my wife sleeps. Small compact excellent coverage and you can use anyone's Bluetooth headset or device with this transmitter.
