Honestly, this has been one of my favorite purchases!! Great little radio. Very good sound quality and precise easy tuning. This radio is a throwback to simpler days and I love it. Battery operated only and no plug in for an AC adapter. I highly recommend this radio.

We were looking for a reasonably priced portable radio that we could use when we needed to be outdoors, or when we had no electricity. We also wanted a good quality sound.

This radio fits our needs.. It has good battery life and a very good sound for a portable radio. The stations we listen in both am and fm are very clear.

Great portable radio--really pulls in the stations!

I would definitely buy this radio again. It uses D cell batteries that last a very long time. The radio has great reception and sensitivity and selectivity. I couldn't ask for a better portable radio. It's very compact and I expect it to last a very long time. As a matter of fact, I might even order a second one!

Radio came in a timely manner. From the picture I thought I was ordering a transistor radio to walk with. My fault! The radio is fine and will find something good to do with it

Everyone should have this small, compact radio which is only run on batteries in case of a power failure. Not everyone owns computers or cell phones to get up to the minute weather as well as news. Also a great radio to take along on vacations.
